Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →

A black-pork barbecue house at 241 Seohong-ro, Seogwipo, in a glass-walled building above a lawn garden. The usual table is belly at 22,000 won or neck / bone-in loin at 33,000 won, with kimchi stew (9,000), soybean stew (8,000) and the house melbap. You never touch the tongs: staff or the owner grill everything. We read 30 posts dated 19 June to 21 October 2026; 3 were about other restaurants and 2 were reposts of the same visit, leaving 25 first-hand meals.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. All 25 meals say the staff or owner did the grilling. Several describe the anchovy sauce being boiled separately on a side burner before going on the grill, and the first cooked piece being dipped and placed on your plate. Melbap is also mixed at the table and left on the grill to crisp.
  2. 14 posts mention the floor-to-ceiling glass. One says three walls (all but the kitchen side) are glass onto the lawn and woods; another says the window seats go first. One enjoyed the misty view on a rainy day.
  3. 6 posts found the portions large, mostly the kimchi stew in a 'much bigger pot than expected'. One post disagreed: told the soybean stew was big, the family found it wasn't.
  4. 5 posts say they saw the origin board; two note that everything but the tofu was Korean or Jeju-sourced. A glass ageing fridge on the kitchen wall comes up repeatedly. The '480 hours of ageing' and '16 years of charcoal grilling' lines are the house's own claims, copied into many posts, and we don't count them.

  1. Family meals lead with 10 posts, 7 of them with children; 3 were couples and 1 went with a friend. Two say staff set out children's tableware unasked, one says there were plenty of high chairs, and several mention kids running on the lawn after the meal.

The most ordered dish is melbap (멜밥) — 22 of 25 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

9 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park9 of 25 posts

9 posts parked. Several mention a lot beside the building, but one says there is no separate lot and another found the front spaces too few; either way, everyone could park in a single line along the road in front.

Getting inside

Step at the entranceyes 0 · no 1 (of 25 posts read)
Step-free access1 of 25 posts

No post mentions floors or stairs; nobody says what level the dining room is on.

Only one post describes the way in: flat with no step from the car to the door, easy with a stroller. Nobody went in by wheelchair; the 'wheelchair accessible' line in one info block is copied and we don't count it.

No post says where the toilets are or whether they are separate — not that there are none, just that nobody wrote about them.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Prices changed. Up to 14 August: neck / bone-in loin 300g for 33,000 won, belly 200g for 22,000, limited cuts 150g for 17,000. From 24 August the same prices bought 270g and 180g, and the limited cuts became 180g for 24,000. Melbap went from 4,000 (19 June) to 5,000 (August on). One post totals a meal: six portions of meat plus melbap and cold ramyeon came to 210,000 won before wine.
  • Every post gives 11:30–22:00, but almost all copy an info block. Six posts from June to mid-August list Wednesday as the day off; later posts say 'daily', so the closing day seems to have been dropped, though no post saw an announcement. Last order is 20:30 in most posts, 21:00 in one. No break time.
  • Nobody came by bus; everyone drove or took a taxi, quoting 5–7 minutes by car from Olle Market. No post describes getting there on foot.
  • No post reports queuing. 5 booked through Naver, one explicitly to avoid a wait; one says the owner let them in early when he saw them waiting before opening. On the evening of 24 August one post found several cuts sold out because it was busy.
  • The phone number 0507-1411-0917 appears in many posts; most who booked used Naver booking. Group buy-outs of 50–80 people are mentioned only as hearsay.
  • 4 posts disclose sponsorship and 2 say they paid; the rest are silent. But the same phrases — 'like nature in Europe', 'a master who has grilled over charcoal for 16 years', '480 hours of ageing' — recur in more than ten posts, so many seem written from a brief supplied by the restaurant. Two pairs of reposted reviews were counted once each.
