Badareul Bon Dwaeji
바다를본돼지 Badareul Bon Dwaeji means 'the pig that saw the sea' — one writer said the name made sense once she saw the ocean from the window seats.

A black-pork grill house on the second floor of a building on Chilsimni-ro in Seogwipo, across from Jaguri Park, where you grill Jeju black-pork belly and neck at the table. Both writers ordered the house platter for two; one gives 63,000 won for 550 g with the anchovy stew, and 4,000 won for pot rice with abalone-innard sauce. We read 2 posts, from September to October 2026, and both describe actual visits.

What sets it apart
- The 'sea' in the name is the view from the windows. One writer, there before sunset, ate looking at the ocean from a window seat. The other came at 7:15 pm, saw nothing outside, and used the restaurant's own photo for the daytime view — go while it's light if the view matters.
- Both posts list bracken, water dropwort, aged kimchi, scallion salad and lettuce as sides, and both say you refill them yourself at a self-serve bar. One writer grilled the bracken and kimchi in the pork fat.
- One writer says a staff member grills the first round, explains how to eat it and simmers the anchovy sauce on the grill. The other photographed the house instructions: neck first, then belly.
- One post says the anchovy stew comes free with the first order after 3 pm, and that writing a receipt review earns a Jeju cup ramen. The other ordered the stew as part of a 63,000-won bundle with the pork.

Parking

One writer drove and parked easily in the building's own lot. The other post's 'lot behind the building or the main road in front' is copied info. We don't know how big the lot is.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 2 of 2 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | 1 of 2 posts |
The restaurant is on the second floor, but neither post says whether there is a lift or only stairs, or whether there is a step at the door. That means nobody wrote it down, not that there isn't one.
One post says the restroom is inside and clean. Nobody says whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Directions by bus 611 or 641 to Seogwipo Elementary School, then a five-minute walk, appear only in a copied info block; no writer actually went by bus.
- Only one post speaks to crowds: a Monday at about 7:15 pm, not busy. We don't know about lunch or weekends.
- One writer went with her husband; the other just says 'we'. We can't say how it suits friends, kids or groups.
- Opening hours — daily 12:00 to 22:00, last order 21:00 — come from a single copied block; the other post gives none. We don't know the closing day.
- Prices come from one September 2026 post: 63,000 won for 550 g for two with the anchovy stew, 4,000 won for pot rice. The other gives no figures, only that it wasn't unreasonably expensive. Nobody gives the lunch-set price.
- Only one post gives the phone number, 064-900-1005, and nobody says whether they take reservations.
