Yukchimi
육치미 Yukchimi plays on yuk (meat) and dongchimi, chilled radish-water kimchi — two posts say the name comes from the dongchimi noodles served with every grill order.

A black-pork grill house in Sangye-dong, Seogwipo, a five-to-ten-minute drive from the Jungmun resort area. Black-pork belly, belly-and-neck, and jowl-collar cost 22,000 won per 200 g portion, regular pork belly 18,000; the owner or staff grill it for you on a round cast-iron plate over charcoal. Dongchimi noodles come free with any meat order, and side dishes and lettuce are self-serve. Out front are a large garden and parking lot. We read 30 posts dated 29 October 2024 to 11 October 2026; 25 describe actually eating here. Prices did not change over those two years.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- You don't grill your own meat here. All 18 posts that discuss ordering say the owner or staff did the grilling. Cooked pieces are pushed to the rim of the plate to stay warm while bracken is fried in the pork fat at the centre. Extra orders are where accounts differ: one November 2024 post says only the first order is grilled for you and refills are do-it-yourself, while two posts from December 2024 and January 2026 say the extra meat was grilled too.
- Not one post reports waiting. Of the 9 that touch on it, 5 say there was no line — one family had the room to themselves, another came on a weekday evening and walked straight in, a third arrived early to a single occupied table that filled up by the time they left. Several posts say they came here because the queue at nearby Sukseongdo was too long. Four posts say you can book; one booked through Naver and got extras that brought a roughly 82,000-won bill down to 76,000.
- Eleven posts describe a large hall that doesn't feel like a typical grill house — exposed concrete, monstera plants, big windows, generous space between tables. Eight call it clean, and one says the restroom was roomy and clean too. One March 2025 post sat at a small inner table; a February 2026 post calls the room noisy and lively, against another that found it quiet on a foggy off-season night.
- Three posts from November–December 2024 describe Christmas decorations in the garden. The garden itself comes up across seasons — one family's child walked among the hydrangeas while the meat cooked, another post says kids could go out and play after eating. One post mentions a calico cat greeting guests at the door.
1 more
- Four posts came with children and three mention high chairs; one from September 2025 says staff brought separate toddler tableware. Family outings are the most common (7 posts), then friends (2) and a couple (1).

Parking

Twelve posts say the lot is large, written by people who parked there; none say otherwise. Two posts warn that car navigation can misroute you — one advises entering the street address rather than the shop name, another ended up elsewhere first.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post says which floor the dining room is on or whether there is basement or upstairs seating — nobody mentioned it, which is not the same as there being none.
No post says whether there is a step or stairs at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One mentions an uphill approach past a 7-Eleven.
Nobody says whether the restroom is inside the dining room or separated by sex; one post only notes it was spacious and clean.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- On price, one April 2025 post says the 200 g portions make it not that expensive, while a March 2025 post allows it may feel a bit steep. Only one post gives a total bill: 76,000 won for two, three meat orders with extras.
- All opening hours are copied from listings, not observed. Nine posts through September 2025 give 17:00–22:00; three from January–April 2026 give 17:00–21:00, suggesting closing moved an hour earlier in between. An October 2026 post says 22:00 but recounts a summer 2025 visit. Every post that lists a day off says Wednesday. Call ahead (0507-1476-5581) to confirm.
- We don't know the shop's history. The first post (October 2024) says it had only recently opened; one post guesses it used to be called Swineunpang, another heard it moved after a renovation — guesses and hearsay, so we don't rely on them. One post says the same owner runs Ojeon Yeolhansi, the daytime restaurant next door.
- No post describes getting here by bus; nearly everyone drove a rental car, and one walked two minutes from a nearby hotel.
