Yolda
욜다 One post relays the house's own explanation that the name plays on the Korean verb yeolda, 'to open' — opening one's heart, opening a door to a new space.
Compiled from 28 blog posts read in fullSources →
Yolda is a black-pork grill house on a quiet road in Saekdal-dong, near the Jungmun resort area in Seogwipo. It is a single-storey building wrapped around a garden courtyard, with private dining rooms along the corridor; a staff member comes into your room and grills the dry-aged belly and neck from start to finish. Sets are sized by headcount, two to five people, and a June 2026 post priced the two-person set at 78,000 won. Doenjang stew, cold noodles and abalone fried rice follow the meat. We read 30 posts dated 2 April to 19 October 2026; 28 describe an actual visit (one of them a December 2025 meal posted later).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You eat in a private room: 27 of the 28 visit posts say so. One party of seven had an eight-seat room; posts mention a wardrobe and aprons in the room and big windows onto the courtyard, tangerine trees or stone walls. A copied booking notice says confirmed Naver reservations are seated in rooms, and some posts saw a separate bar counter for solo diners and couples. One post found the room lighting too dim for older parents.
- Staff do the grilling: 24 posts say so. One family had the meat cut small for their child; an August 2026 post says one of two servers cut pieces too thick and left them underdone inside. One post got an explanation of each cut, another missed any guidance on the sauces and side dishes.
- Families with babies come here: 11 posts got a high chair, several saying it was set up in advance after they noted it in the booking, along with baby tableware. One post had baby food warmed for them.
- Seven posts found a baby-changing station, one placing it beside the sink in the women's toilet; one notes there is no nursing room.
3 more
- People book: 13 posts reserved through Naver or CatchTable. One found Naver full, phoned the restaurant and got the last room; another had a confirmation call three hours ahead.
- One post says rooms are limited to two hours; no other post mentions it.
- It is mostly family meals: 16 posts went with family, including a 70th birthday and trips with grandparents or infants; two went as a couple.

| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 2 (of 28 posts read) |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 28 posts |
Two posts describe a single-storey building; none mentions a basement or upstairs seating.
Three posts say strollers or wheelchairs get in; one describes a step-free path from the lot with tactile paving. Nobody says whether there is an accessible toilet.
The toilets are not inside the dining wing. Two posts place them outside, one finding the walk long from an inner room, the other finding it humid. One post says they are separate for men and women.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No one arrived by bus; every visit was by car. That doesn't mean it can't be done, only that nobody wrote about it.
- Nobody queued. One post saw people waiting as they left; another walked straight in on a reservation. How long a walk-in waits, we don't know.
- Few prices survive: 78,000 won for the two-person set and 39,000 won for an extra 300 g of belly (both June 2026), 88,000 won for the two-person set with rice and stew (October 2026), about 180,000 won for two big eaters (December 2025). Three posts call it pricey, one calls it good value. Nobody gives prices for the three- to five-person sets.
- Whether you must start with a set is disputed: one September 2026 post was told single cuts aren't allowed on the first order, two others say singles are available. Three posts added single cuts after a set.
- Eighteen posts list opening hours, all copied from the listing: 17 agree on 11:30-22:00 with a 15:30-17:00 break, seven give last orders at 21:00, and one April 2026 post says 23:00. No post names a closing day; seven say daily. Two posts arrived for a 17:00 booking and waited out the break.
- The phone number, 0507-1408-0073, is copied in many posts; one says calling turned up a free room when Naver booking showed none.
- Promotional writing is mixed in. Two posts disclose sponsorship. One blogger wrote three posts with identical structure and another wrote two, and most of the self-serve coffee, tablet-ordering and garden detail comes from those five. Two near-identical posts with no record of eating were not counted. Celebrity-visit claims are hearsay and not used.
