Seommora
섬모라 Seom means island in Korean; none of the posts explain the rest of the name.

Seommora is the buffet restaurant in the middle of the ground-floor lobby of Haevichi Hotel in Pyoseon, Jeju. Breakfast (7-10 a.m.) is a buffet at 65,000 won for adults and 36,000 for children; dinner is a buffet at 140,000 and 70,000; lunch (noon-2:30) is à la carte, with dishes like beef hangover soup, a burger and jjajangmyeon. We read 30 posts dated 28 Sept to 22 Oct 2026. Fifteen record actually eating here (11 breakfasts, 3 dinners, 1 lunch). Fourteen are hotel promotions or booking-link posts that copy a line about the restaurant, and one was about the resort's other restaurant, Idi, so we set it aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Sushi is made to order. Five posts say sushi or eggs were cooked on request (four mention sushi, one only eggs). One says you tell the chef which pieces, how many and whether you want wasabi, and that you can order ahead and pick them up later.
- Expect a wait around 8:30 a.m. Two posts mention waiting, both arriving about then: one waited 10 minutes, the other got number 32 at 8:28 and was seated after 17 minutes, and suggests joining the queue on the CatchTable app from your room. The one lunch post found the room nearly empty.
- Window seats go first. Three posts mention them: one arrived at opening and says the window tables were gone almost immediately, one advises going early for them, and the lunch post liked the sea view through the big windows.
- Coffee is made for you. Five posts mention it: drip coffee is served at the table, and staff make lattes and other drinks at a coffee station. One post got decaf on request.

- Four posts went with small children. One was brought a high chair, another found a toddler plate, cutlery and cup set out, and children up to 36 months eat free.
- Nobody found the food salty. Two posts mention seasoning, both on the mild side: dinner was well seasoned, the lunch soup a bit bland. One dinner post found the duck gamey.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 5 (of 15 posts read) |
|---|
It is on the ground floor. Five posts describe walking to it on the hotel's first-floor lobby, one placing it in the middle of the atrium. None mention a basement or upper floor.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. Four posts went with toddlers and none mention it. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is no access.
No post says where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 14 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on value split. Five posts weigh in: two say it is expensive (dinner 'not worth' 140,000 won; lunch dishes pricier than a normal restaurant), two say it is not (140,000 is reasonable for a hotel dinner buffet; breakfast 'not that expensive'), and one found breakfast slightly disappointing next to a favourite buffet at similar cost. Breakfast is 65,000 won adult / 36,000 child, dinner 140,000 / 70,000. A resort guest paid a 30,000-won top-up; a staff discount brought breakfast for two to 104,000 won. No one gave lunch prices.
- None of the diners describe getting here by bus. The note about taking express bus 121 or 122 from the airport to the Jeju Folk Village stop is copied hotel information.
- Seven posts agree breakfast runs 7-10 a.m. Dinner closing is given as 9 p.m. in one post and 9:30 in another (a copied table); one post gives lunch as noon to 2:30. One diner who arrived around 7 p.m. felt rushed and recommends coming at the 6 p.m. opening.
- Two posts give the phone number 064-780-8322. Dinner takes reservations: one couple booked the same afternoon and got a table by the entrance because the good seats were gone; another guest was offered only the waitlist at check-in and ordered room service instead. Breakfast is walk-in with a queue.
- Eight posts are the same hotel promotion: the same Yeogi-eottae blurb, discount-coupon links and 'photos: Yeogi-eottae' credit, with Seommora reduced to one line about floor, hours and price. We did not count them as meals here.
