Grill houseKorean

Jeju Neulbom

제주늘봄 Neulbom joins neul (always) and bom (spring) — 'always spring'; Jeju is the island the house stands on.

Compiled from 11 blog posts read in fullSources →

A beef house on Gosamaru-gil in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, tucked behind the Neulbom Heukdwaeji pork building. In the evening people grill US beef short rib over charcoal (35,000 won plain, 30,000 won marinated, 300 g) and Korean beef; at lunch (11:00–15:00) the draw is a beef bulgogi hotpot at 12,000–14,000 won a head. We read 20 posts from June 2025 to October 2026; six were really about the pork house next door or another restaurant and were set aside, and three were lists or copied listings rather than visits. The counts below come from the eleven visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There are private rooms. All nine posts that described the seating mention rooms of different sizes. Two say the front counter asks your party size and assigns a room accordingly; one booked and was shown to a room, another walked in, was seated in the hall and moved after asking. Two posts that came as a pair or a party of four sat at partitioned hall tables instead.
  2. Four posts say staff grilled the meat for them. One adds that this happens when it is quiet and you may grill yourself at busy times. Another warns the charcoal is hot and meat cooks fast.
  3. Several posts mention seasoned raw crab among the side dishes, and five say they got refills of sides or hotpot vegetables — crab twice in one case, radish-green kimchi several times in another.

The lot in front is big. All eight posts that mentioned parking parked there and called it spacious; one noted it was still full of cars.

Getting inside

Second floor1 of 11 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 11 posts read)

Only one post spoke to floors: past the front counter there is plenty of seating on the ground floor, and a second floor as well.

Nobody wrote about steps at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means unknown, not absent. Every mention of escalators and lifts was about the Neulbom Heukdwaeji building in front.

No visitor described the toilets; 'separate men's and women's' appears only in copied listing text.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 14 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Service is split. Of seven posts that talked about staff, four found them friendly, one found them curt (things brought without a word), and two were mixed — one usually finds the servers brusque but not this time, another had an order dropped and a billing error before an apology and a free stew.
  • The lunch bulgogi price varies by post: 12,000 won (one menu photo, one party that paid 60,000 won for five), 13,000 won (one post) and 14,000 won for 300 g (one post); the portion weight is given as both 250 g and 300 g. The figures don't move in date order, so we can't say when or whether it changed. All three posts that mention it give 19,000 won after 3 pm.
  • Ten visit posts all give 11:00–21:50 daily, but every one copied it into a header block; six also copy 'open every day'. Six give the phone as 064-744-9000 (064-744-9001 is the pork house). One post booked ahead and got a room.
  • No one described getting there by bus or on foot; posts only say it is about 15 minutes by car from the airport and that you turn right at the pork house entrance into a side lane.
  • No post reports waiting. Some say it was packed on a weekend or full of group bookings, but nobody queued — which means no one wrote about it, not that there is never a wait.
  • Of five posts that said who they came with, four were family outings (one a parent's 60th birthday) and one was two friends. None came alone or as a couple on a date.
