DIDIDA

디디다 Didida Didida is the Korean verb meaning to step on or set foot on something.

Compiled from 30 blog posts read in fullSources →

An orange-signed spot on Samseong-ro in Jeju City, across from Samseonghyeol shrine. It sells Jeju black-pork katsu, tamago and ebi sandos, plus ok-ttalgi jumulleok, hand-crushed strawberries topped with milk. There are bar seats and four-person tables, but 18 of the 30 posts took their food away, often to eat before a flight or on a beach. Through August 2026 the katsu sando was 10,000 won and the strawberry drink 7,000 won; from late September they were 12,000 and 7,500. One post from around Christmas 2024 describes eating a pork-cutlet rice bowl at the same address, so the place looked different then. We read 30 posts from February 2025 to October 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. 18 posts took their order away. The strawberry drink comes in a cup or a screw-top bottle. Several posts phoned ahead and simply picked up. One paid 2,000 won extra for a cooler bag to carry the food home to Busan. Another asked to have leftovers boxed and said the owner did it gladly.
  2. 9 posts said the portions are large and 10 said the cutlet is thick. The katsu sando comes in three pieces. One post said a single piece filled them up and suggested two people share one sando; another said one order is enough for a grown man.
  3. 12 posts described the seating: bar seats decorated with basalt and moss to the left by the counter, four-person tables to the right. One post noted there are only two tables, both for four, so solo diners and pairs should take the bar. 5 posts said the bar faces an open kitchen where you can watch the sandos being made.
  4. 5 posts mentioned high chairs. One family that came with a baby said the room was wide enough to bring a stroller in easily.

Parking

14 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park14 of 30 posts

14 posts parked or found parking easy. On weekdays you use the Paradise wedding hall lot right next door; at weekends, the Hani Crown Hotel lot across the road, with a ticket from the shop. One post left the car there while walking around the area. The '200-space' figure is the same phrase repeated across many posts.

Getting inside

Step-free access1 of 30 posts
Toilet inside2 of 30 posts
Separate restroomsyes 0 · no 1 (of 30 posts read)

No post describes the floor from experience; '1st floor' appears only in the address, and nobody mentions steps at the entrance.

Only 1 post brought a stroller in. Nobody wrote about a step at the door or wheelchair access, which means we don't know, not that there isn't any. One post copied 'wheelchair' from the Naver listing; we don't count that.

2 posts said the toilet is inside the shop, and 1 said it is a single unisex toilet but clean. Nothing more is known about it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • A dozen or so posts from September and October 2026 repeat the same talking points in the same order: the YouTuber filming, a reality-show guest, the 200-space hotel lot, 10–15 minutes made to order, the 8:2 strawberry-to-milk ratio, catering for army units, no Chinese ingredients. Only one of them disclosed sponsorship and one said it received free service; the rest said nothing either way. We treat these phrases as the shop's own messaging, not as evidence. 4 posts mentioned a free americano for writing a Naver review.
  • Prices rose in September 2026. January and August posts had the katsu sando at 10,000 won and the strawberry drink at 7,000; from a 23 September post the ebi sando was 11,000 and the drink 7,500, and an October post had katsu and tamago at 12,000. Averaging them would mislead; the current price is the higher one.
  • One post from a visit around Christmas 2024 (published February 2025) describes a pork-neck cutlet rice bowl at 14,000 won and a kimchi cutlet hotpot, eaten at the counter, under the same name at the same address. A June 2025 post called it a newly opened restaurant or café. It looks as if a cutlet restaurant became the sando café in between, but no post says when or how. We kept that post's remarks on taste and portions apart from the current menu.
  • Opening hours: 16 posts give 11:00–19:00 with Tuesdays closed, and 12 give last orders at 18:30, mostly copied from info boxes. One post alone said it opens every day without a day off.
  • No post explains how to get there by bus or on foot; the '5 minutes from Dongmun Market, 15 from the airport' figures are driving times copied from the shop. One post travelling by bus simply dropped in while walking to a stop.
  • No post describes a queue. One arrived at opening and walked straight in; one found it not busy on a Saturday afternoon; the rest say nothing about waiting. The wait people mention is the 10–15 minutes to make each order, which is also the shop's own line. 2 posts noted chairs to wait on.
