A black-pork grill house on Donggwang-ro 1-gil, a few minutes' walk from Jeju City Hall. Belly and neck come out of the kitchen already seared at 200°C and staff finish them at your table; the two-person black-pork set (400 g) is 54,000 won and includes kimchi stew, steamed egg, king oyster mushrooms and black tiger prawns. What sets it apart
- You don't grill yourself. Of the 27 visit posts, 18 say staff or the owner grilled at the table, and 15 say the meat arrived already seared from the kitchen. Several describe kimchi, bean sprouts and bracken cooked in the pork fat at the low edge of the grill, with onion and shredded scallion tossed in at the end.
- Near the counter a machine dispenses sikhye and tangerine juice as slush, and 15 posts drank it free. One post quotes a sign saying cups are unlimited; the same house-made sikhye sells for 2,000 won per 500 ml bottle. Three posts got a bottle for writing a receipt review.
- Side dishes are refilled from a self-serve bar, as 16 posts note — bean sprouts, bracken, garlic stems, macaroni salad, pickled onion and more; one went back for perilla-leaf pickles. Several relay a do-it-yourself fried-egg station until 3 pm, but all of them went in the evening and none used it.
- Thirteen posts call the room spacious; one counts roughly 20 four-person tables, and another watched groups keep arriving. One post notes the floor wasn't greasy.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- We know little about waiting. Two posts were seated without a wait (8:30 pm on a holiday, and an evening with only a table or two left). Several found it nearly full around 7 pm, but none says they queued. One post booked by phone.
- Only one post came by bus and found it easy; the 'one minute from the Gwangyang stop' line is copied information. One post walked over from Dongmun Market.
- All opening hours are copied from information blocks. Thirteen posts give 11:00–22:30, twelve say closed Wednesdays, eight give last order at 21:30; one says until 23:00 and one says open daily. No post mentions a break.
- Prices held steady from August to October 2026: 54,000 won for the two-person black-pork set, 46,000 for the regular-pork set; extra rice or noodles are 1,000 won each with meat. Five posts list the lunch kimchi stew at 10,000 won and one (September) at 11,000. Four posts call it good value.
- One post dissents on taste: after the regular-pork set on a holiday evening it called the flavour ordinary but the set good value. The others were pleased.
- Many posts from August–September 2026 repeat the same three search phrases and the same block of hours, parking rules, the 12-branch list and the autograph, in the same order. Only one discloses partial sponsorship, but read them as a promotional batch. Pork certification, 'directly run' and 'model restaurant' claims are the shop's own and not used as evidence; two posts that read as generated text were not counted as visits.
