Manho Minmul Jangeo is a freshwater-eel grill on Yeonsam-ro 497 in Jeju City, near the Jeju Student Culture Center. Grilled eel comes in salt, soy glaze or gochujang, with a minimum order of three eels for 93,000 won and 31,000 won for each extra. The eel arrives par-grilled, staff glaze and cut it at the table, a small porridge comes first and the eel soup arrives when you order rice. At lunch (11:00 to 15:00) there is a half-eel set for 21,000 won. We read 15 posts from December 2024 to October 2026; one was not about this place, and 12 describe an actual meal. Five went with family, two with a partner, two with friends.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Staff do much of the grilling. Ten posts say a server trimmed and cut the eel at the table, and eight say it comes out par-grilled. Two say staff brush on the gochujang because it burns easily, and one describes soy glaze being basted on as it turned. Diners mostly just flip it once. One post found it still springy after five more minutes and recommends ten.
- No post describes waiting. Two walked in without a booking around 18:00 and 18:30 and were seated at once. Others found it nearly full at 17:30, very busy at 18:30 on a Sunday, and crowded at 11:10 on a weekday. Two posts say you can book.

Parking
11 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Eleven posts mention parking, all describing a dedicated lot right beside the restaurant. Of four that gave a sense of size, three called it large and one guessed six or seven cars. One says an underground lot takes the overflow. A self-described nervous driver found it easy to park.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 4 of 12 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 12 posts read) |
The restaurant uses two floors. Four posts mention the second floor, opened for groups, bookings and the summer boyang days (one says it seats over 30). Three ate on the ground floor. Two mention private rooms, and one sat in a back room on the ground floor with partitions between tables. One post found the seat by the entrance cold whenever the door opened.
Three posts place the restaurant on the ground floor of its building; none mention basement seating.
We do not know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in; nobody wrote about it. Nor does any post say how you reach the second floor.
We do not know where the toilets are. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in one post that copied the Naver listing, so we do not count it.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split on how hot the gochujang eel is: two say it is not spicy, one found it a little hot and sweet.
- No post describes arriving by bus; those that mention getting there drove. One gives bus 43-2 from the airport, about 30 minutes, as a tip, which we did not count as experience.
- Six posts list opening hours, all copied into a header block. All six say 10:00 to 22:00. A 16:00 to 17:00 break appears only in three posts from early 2025 and not in later ones, so we cannot say whether it still applies. One post wrote Monday to Friday, and two say it closes over the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays.
- Prices were the same in posts from March 2025 to August 2026. One post called the eel not cheap, another said it is too pricey for frequent visits. One group of four had five eels plus drinks, but no post gave a bill total, so we do not know what a meal comes to.
- Only one post commented on service, calling it merely so-so.
- Eight posts give the same phone number, 064-757-9895. One suggests calling to book, and another booked for 20:00 on a Friday.
- We did not count three posts: a nationwide address directory, a one-line entry in a list of five summer boyang spots, and a post that copied the Naver listing and eel health facts. The claims that the house opened in 1996 and is run by the second generation were hearsay, so we did not rely on them.
