만세국수 시청점 Manse is the cheer 'hurrah' (literally 'ten thousand years') and guksu means noodles; Sicheong-jeom marks this as the City Hall branch.

A gogi guksu (pork noodle soup) house on Yeonsam-ro 437, on the main road south of Jeju City Hall. The noodles are 9,000 won, alongside pork or offal rice soup (9,000), seolleongtang (10,000), ox-knee soup (13,000), and glutinous-rice sundae or dumplings (9,000). Nineteen posts say it is open around the clock. The hall is large with a dedicated lot out front; extra side dishes and rice come from a self-serve bar, and there is a coffee machine at the door. Three posts say the restaurant moved here, one recalling the old shop on the noodle street — every visit we read is at the current Yeonsam-ro site. We read 24 posts from 15 September to 22 October 2026; 22 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Seventeen posts call the hall large. One notes chair-and-table seating with no shoes off; another that the self-serve bar is split into two stations so it is close to every table. Two posts saw a separate room at the back.
  2. Sides and rice are self-serve. Sixteen posts went back to the bar for more kimchi and radish kimchi, and extra rice is there too. One post felt the rice bowl served with the soups was on the small side.
  3. Nine posts came with children. Two counted two high chairs; one was glad staff asked before adding chili flakes in case the baby would share, and another asked for extra seaweed flakes and was handed the whole tub.
  4. Twelve posts mention the coffee machine at the entrance, with instant milk coffee and americano.
4 more
  1. Six posts say the pork has no off smell. One contrasted it with a previous trip where the meat smelled gamey; here the children ate it before any chili paste went in.
  2. The broth is lightly seasoned. Four posts say so, one advising you to add salt yourself.
  3. Gogi guksu is 9,000 won. Five posts found prices reasonable; one compared it with Jeju places charging over 10,000, and another called the 13,000-won ox-knee soup good value.
  4. Family outings dominate at ten posts; three went as a couple and one with a friend.

Parking is easy. Of 21 posts that mention it, 19 parked without trouble, and one put the lot at about 25 cars. It does fill near lunch: one post found it almost full as noon approached, another came out to a packed lot.

Getting inside

Toilet inside2 of 22 posts
Separate restrooms2 of 22 posts

No post describes which floor it is on; one info box says 1st floor, but that is a copied address. We don't know.

No one described the entrance step or going in with a wheelchair or stroller. One post mentions a wheelchair ramp, but in the same words as the listed amenities it copied, so we did not count it. That means unknown, not absent.

The toilets are inside, near the entrance — two posts say so, one placing them just to the right as you walk in — and two note separate men's and women's rooms. One found them small for the size of the place.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 23 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Several posts quote a sign saying noodles take about ten minutes to boil and may come after the rice soups. In practice one post found them slow and two found them quick.
  • No one reported waiting. Two posts — one at weekend lunch, one around 5 p.m. — found no line. Others saw a busy room after Saturday lunch and every table filling soon after an early dinner. Advice to avoid 11:30–13:00 on weekdays is a suggestion, not an experience.
  • Nobody came by bus; almost everyone drove, and one walked fifty minutes from home. We don't know how it works by public transport.
  • We don't know when it moved. Three posts say it relocated, one placing the old shop on the noodle street, but none gives a date. All the visits we read are at the current site.
  • Many posts follow one template. Between 18 September and 3 October, a large share repeat the same lines — 24 years in business, 4.38 million bowls sold, 95% of locals return, broth simmered 24 hours — with identical hashtags. None discloses sponsorship, but they read like campaign posts. We treated those lines as the restaurant's own claims and did not count them.
  • Nineteen posts agree the hours are 24/7, but closures differ: eleven say it shuts on Lunar New Year and Chuseok days, six just say open every day of the year. One adds that it reopens at 6 a.m. the day after a holiday. Call ahead on holidays.
  • Two phone numbers appear: 064-727-7056 and what looks like a Naver relay number, 0507-1343-7056. Posts say groups can book ahead, but that is hearsay; no one we read made a reservation.
