Harakeke is an ocean-view cafe on Sokgol-ro in Hogeun-dong, Seogwipo, inside the grounds of the Visby Jeju & Palm Village pension. Order one drink per person at the entrance and you can use the pool and garden; menu prices are 7,000 won for an Americano, 25,000 won for pizza or fries with chicken tenders, and 15,000 won for the Sunset Harakeke cocktail. In the morning it doubles as the pension's free breakfast room. We read 30 posts from October 2025 to October 2026; 25 describe eating or drinking here, but 19 of those are pension stays and only 6 came for the cafe alone.

What sets it apart
- You must order a drink per person at the entrance. Five posts mention the rule, adding that the pool, terrace and cabanas then cost nothing extra. One noticed nobody actually checks once you are inside. Two posts saw a sign saying no pets and no outside food.
- Pension guests get the Americano at half price during breakfast. Nine posts bought it that way; the three that give a figure say 3,500 won, against 7,000 on the menu.
- Indoors, large windows look out on Beomseom island and the sea. Five posts mention the glass frontage, and one says the high ceiling keeps it from feeling cramped.
- There is outdoor seating too: three posts describe parasol seats around the pool or in the garden, one noting the tables are far enough apart that you cannot hear the next one. Two posts mention a glass-railed rooftop.

Almost nobody describes the floor layout. One post calls it a ground-floor cafe; another climbed stairs from the pool area to reach the indoor room.
No one says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means we don't know, not that there is none. One post climbed stairs to the indoor cafe.
No post says where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender.

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split on price: two call the drinks expensive, one says they are not. No post gives what a visit cost per person.
- Fifteen pension posts published between 20 and 27 October 2026 follow the same template: the same garden size, Bali bird's-nest sculpture, half-price Americano and booking link, in the same order, with no sponsorship disclosed. What they say about the cafe is mostly breakfast and the discount.
- No one describes arriving by bus. Three pension posts say the Seogwi Girls' High School stop is close, but that is copied from listing information.
- No post mentions waiting. One summer post notes the pool was busy with families.
- Four posts give the same opening hours, 8:00 to 20:00 with last orders at 19:00, but all in copied information lines. No post mentions a closing day.
