Slow Matcha is a matcha café in the second-floor lobby of WE Hotel Jeju on the 1100-ro road above Seogwipo. Matcha drinks come with a choice of mild, deep-green or smoky matcha; the latte is 6,500 won and the milk-free matcha water 6,000 won. People pair them with an afternoon tea set of four mini desserts (19,000 won), soft-bake tarts (4,900 won) or shaved ice (from 19,000 won), sitting by windows facing the forest. We read 30 posts dated 8 August to 23 October 2026; 19 describe an actual visit, 10 only mention the café inside hotel or deal write-ups, and 1 was set aside because the café never appears in it.

What sets it apart
- The floor-to-ceiling windows onto the forest are the draw. Ten of the 19 visit posts describe them — one calls the view 'enormous', another the 'green forest beyond the glass'. One suggests a rainy day for watching the rain fall outside.
- Three posts mention the high ceiling — one says it rises three storeys — and three describe the room as spacious, with plenty of room between tables.
- The matcha latte arrives unsweetened with syrup on the side — six posts say so, one calling it low-sugar syrup. Six posts found the drinks not sweet or not too sweet; three called something sweet, but those were about desserts, shaved ice or a 'sweet matcha drink'. Some liked the nutty bitterness; one found the plain version too bland.

You enter the hotel and go up one floor. Seven posts describe taking stairs or an escalator to the second floor, and two mention a lift as well, one on each side of the central staircase. One notes the café opens straight onto the lobby with no door of its own.
No post mentions entering with a wheelchair or stroller, or a step at the entrance. Two say the hotel has a lift, but we don't know whether the café can be reached step-free. That nobody wrote about it doesn't mean there is a problem.
Two posts say the toilets are clean, but none says where they are or whether they are separated by gender. Presumably they are the hotel's, but we don't know.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 10 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Nobody arrived by bus. Eight of the 19 visit posts drove; the bus and hotel-shuttle details appear only as copied hotel information, so we did not count them.
- Eight posts give opening hours as 08:30–18:00, mostly copied from listings. Last orders were 17:00 in three posts from August 2026 and 17:20 in four from October. One post gives 08:30–17:20 with last orders at 16:20, another an 08:00 opening. Two say it opens every day. Check before you go.
- Prices match between a July 2026 receipt post that copied the menu and an October post: latte 6,500 won, americano 5,500 won, gaeyeok shaved ice 19,000 won. The apple-mango shaved ice (39,000 won) looks seasonal; in October one visitor was told there was no mango. No post totals what a visit cost.
- Two posts list the phone number 064-730-1271. Nobody says whether it takes reservations.
- Some posts give a different address: two by one blogger say 1100-ro 1965-18, and another puts it in Jeju City. We list it at 1100-ro 453-95, second floor of WE Hotel Jeju. The nearby Hoesu Daok is a separate place and was not counted.
- Eight of the 10 mention-only posts are promotional write-ups built from the same templates: four hotel-deal notices with the same three-line summary in the same order, and four hotel reviews carrying the same affiliate-coupon text, some crediting photos to the booking site. We did not use their café details as evidence.
