Moseulpo Minyeongi is a raw-fish restaurant at 33 Choenamdanhaean-ro, near Moseulpo port in Daejeong, Seogwipo. Most visitors had a two-person course: fourteen posts ate the mackerel-and-shrimp course at 65,000 won. Abalone porridge, cold raw-fish soup, spicy salad and braised mackerel come first, then raw mackerel and deep-sea shrimp, fritters, and a clear fish soup with noodles. Several posts say the owner showed them how to wrap mackerel in seaweed with vinegared rice, onion sauce and wasabi. The mackerel-only course is listed at 55,000 won and mackerel with seasonal fish at 70,000. We read 30 posts dated 25 July to 21 October 2026; 17 clearly describe a visit. Twelve were templated write-ups with no order or price, so we left them out, and one was a hotel review.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The most repeated point is that the mackerel isn't fishy: 11 of the 17 visit posts said so. One writer who normally avoids mackerel sashimi because of the smell took it away and said it wasn't fishy at all.
- Writing a review gets you fritters. Seven posts received fried shrimp with sweet potato or pumpkin this way, often plated in a handbag-shaped dish with a stone-grandfather figurine. One noted the regular course includes only sweet potato fritters, so the volume of praise for the fried shrimp partly reflects the event.
- Thirteen posts said the room is large. One listed four-, six- and eight-seat tables; another had two group parties nearby without much noise. There are partitions rather than separate rooms, one post said. Three noted an open kitchen, and several mentioned individually wrapped cutlery.
- Nine posts called it good value. Prices are per two-person course; one post says each extra person costs 30,000 won. One couple and one party of three both left full on a two-person course. A copied menu lists mackerel to go at 40,000 won, or 55,000 with shrimp.
2 more
- Many posts repeat the shop's line that pets are welcome; two saw it firsthand. One brought their own dog, and another saw two parties with dogs seated in an inner area away from other diners.
- Two posts came with small children. One found high chairs but no changing table, and noted grilled fish for kids who can't eat raw fish. The other thought there were high chairs and said the chilli in the soup left little for their baby.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post says which floor it is on or whether there are stairs.
No one mentioned a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. That means nobody wrote about it, not that it is lacking.
One post said the toilet was clean, but no one says whether it is inside or split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 12 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Nobody came by bus; posts arrived by car or bicycle, so we can't say how it works by public transport.
- No post describes waiting. Two booked ahead and were seated at once; one said every table was reserved and full after 6 pm. Many posts list 010-2029-0710 for reservations. How long a walk-in waits at dinner is unknown.
- Two posts say it moved from Andeok to Moseulpo on 15 November, apparently in 2025. That came from the shop, and every post we read is from the current site. One gives a former name, Jeonbokwang; another calls it a ten-year fixture, which doesn't fit.
- Opening hours: 12 visit posts give 2 pm to 11 pm, closed Sundays. All are copied listings; one says Monday to Friday and one says daily, so Saturday rests on the others' Monday-to-Saturday.
- Much of the coverage looks promotional. Two posts disclose sponsorship, and phrases about 50–70-person groups, an original soy sauce and many foreign tourists recur word for word; we treated them as the shop's own lines. Twelve more posts share a template with no order or price, and we did not count them as visits.
