제주영롱가 Yeongnong means glittering or radiant and ga means house; the posts give no story behind the name.

Compiled from 8 blog posts read in fullSources →

A black-pork charcoal-grill house on Inda 15-gil in Ara-dong, Jeju City. In the evening people grill black-pork five-layer belly, belly, neck and ribs (22,000 won a portion for the five-layer belly in a March 2026 post); at lunch it serves hot pots and rice dishes such as beef bulgogi hot pot at 15,000 won and black-pork kimchi hot pot at 9,000 won. It sits close to the Gwaneumsa trail up Hallasan, and four posts stopped by the night before a climb or after coming down. We read 10 posts from July 2025 to September 2026; 9 describe actually eating here (one blogger wrote up the same visit twice, so that is 8 visits).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four posts called the room spacious. One noted it seemed popular for company dinners, and a regular who goes for work meetings and gatherings with elders said there are private rooms good for meetings.
  2. Two posts said staff grill the meat for you: one said it comes pre-grilled and staff handle the first round, the other that staff grill and cut it. The first also said staff mixed the yukhoe at the table.
  3. Four posts said portions are generous: three portions of belly looked small but were not, the marinated ribs were bigger than expected, the kimchi hot pot had plenty of meat, and the bulgogi hot pot had enough glass noodles to skip rice.
  4. Two posts said it is good value (one cited the 9,000-won hot pot) and none called it expensive. One post said three people paid about 110,000 won for three portions of belly, yukhoe, doenjang stew, two beers and a cola.
1 more
  1. One post went alone: they asked whether a single diner was OK, were told yes without hesitation, and ate one portion of belly and one of neck on their own.

Posts saying you can park2 of 8 posts

Two posts said there is parking (a dedicated lot, and fairly roomy). Two others only copied "parking available" from an info block, which we did not count. No post describes actually parking there.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

The registered address says basement level 1, but no post describes going down or which floor it is on. That does not mean it isn't underground; nobody wrote about it.

No post mentions a step, stairs, or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.

No post says whether the toilet is inside or separated by gender. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 9 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • One post said the restaurant picks up and drops off guests of Hotel Nanta and actually rode it; another only heard about it. We did not count this as a property.
  • No post arrived by bus. "Within a 3-minute walk of Jeju National University Hospital" was copied from an info block. Posts arrived on foot (30 minutes from a guesthouse), by taxi, and by the hotel pickup.
  • No post mentions waiting or being seated right away. That is not the same as no wait; nobody wrote about it.
  • Four posts give opening hours, all copied from info blocks: three say 11:00-22:00, and only the latest, from September 2026, says 11:00-21:30. No post gives a closing day, break or last order.
  • Two posts give the same phone number, 064-751-8892. "Reservations possible" appears only in one post's copied info block; no post says they booked.
  • Only three posts give prices: 22,000 won a portion for five-layer belly (March 2026), 9,000 won for the kimchi hot pot (January 2026), and 15,000 won for the bulgogi hot pot and 8,000 won for dumplings (September 2026). Nobody gave prices for the other meats, yukhoe or rice dishes.
