Ijaemo Pizza Jeju-jeom

이재모피자 제주점 Ijaemo is the name of a well-known Busan pizza house; this is its Jeju branch (jeju-jeom).

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

The Jeju branch of Busan's Ijaemo Pizza: a large pizza house in a standalone building at 6 Ganwol-dong-ro, Ara-i-dong, Jeju City. Writers gave ₩26,000 for a small and ₩30,000 for a large of the signature Ijaemo Crust, ₩11,000 for the kimchi fried rice and ₩10,000–10,500 for the oven spaghettis. You order and pay on a tablet or kiosk at the table, a robot brings the food, and you help yourself to drinks and pickles at a self-service bar (no drink refills). We read 30 posts dated 12 September to 22 October 2026; 24 of them record an actual meal there.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Unlike the Busan shops, you usually walk straight in: 13 posts say they were seated at once, 5 say they waited. The waits they gave were 20, 15, 10 and 5 minutes — the 5 minutes was a party of eight waiting for adjoining tables. One writer who arrived just after 5 p.m. on a weekday noticed the queue starting after 6. You register on the CatchTable machine at the door.
  2. Fifteen posts call the room spacious. There are tables for two, four and larger groups, bar seats for solo diners, and five posts mention semi-private, room-like sections. Several writers noticed people eating alone at the bar.
  3. There is a self-service packing corner for leftovers; 12 posts took food away or describe it. You bring a red box to your table — one writer says it holds at most three slices. Takeaway-only orders go through a separate kiosk at the entrance; two writers waited about 15 minutes. The "10% off a large to go" line is the shop's own notice, repeated by several writers.
  4. Five posts mention a wash basin by the entrance. Five also mention high chairs, and one parent warmed baby food in the microwave under the packing corner.
2 more
  1. Nine posts describe ordering and paying in one go on a tablet or kiosk at the table. A serving robot brings the food, and each table has hot sauce, jalapeño sauce and parmesan.
  2. Six posts mention a waiting area at the entrance for both diners and takeaway customers; one describes a row of sky-blue and white chairs under the eaves.

Parking

15 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park15 of 23 posts

Fifteen posts mention a large lot in front. It fills at lunch and dinner, though: several writers circled or waited for a space. When it is full there is a second lot (Areumdaun Church) across the road — about a three-minute walk, one writer said, which felt long in the rain. Another saw a sign warning of fines for parking on the roadside.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet inside3 of 23 posts

No one described which floor they ate on; there is only the "1st floor" in the address and one writer noting it occupies a standalone building.

Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that there is a problem.

Three posts place the toilet inside, next to the waiting area by the entrance. One noticed a smell in summer; another found it clean. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing text, so we did not count it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No one arrived by bus or other public transport. Everyone drove, mostly in rental cars; the "15 minutes from Jeju Airport" is by car.
  • Seventeen posts give identical hours — 10:00 to 21:00, last order 20:30, closed Sundays — but all are copied from the listing rather than checked on the spot.
  • Two posts found the prices low; one felt the ₩11,000 kimchi fried rice was not worth it. The small crust pizza is ₩26,000 in three posts and ₩27,000 (half-and-half) in one.
  • The phone number 064-755-1478 is copied in many posts. One writer says advance reservations are not taken — you register on CatchTable on arrival.
  • Several writers repeat a rumour that the cheese changed (from Imsil cheese to an American one), but it is hearsay and no one dates it, so we did not count it. One writer saw an Imsil cheese certificate on the wall. Nobody said first-hand that the taste got worse; several said they had never tried the old version and could not compare.
  • Two posts say the food came quickly; one says the pizza arrived a long while after the kimchi fried rice.
  • One writer found it loud — voices echo in the big, high room, with machine noise and clattering cutlery, like eating on a building site. Another said the semi-private sections are calmer, though you can still hear the next table.
