MEAT TOWN
미트타운 Miteu Taun Meat Town is simply the English name written in Hangul; the burger house appears to have earlier traded as How To Play (하우투플레이).

A handmade-burger house at 6935 Iljuseo-ro in Gueom-ri, Aewol, close to the Aewol coast road, set in a huge room styled like an American diner. Prices in the posts: the Meat Burger at 11,500 won, a slipper-lobster shrimp burger at 13,500 won, the loaded whole potato at 7,500 won, fries at 3,500 won and soft drinks at 2,000 won (all from 2026 posts). One post ordered at a kiosk by the counter; another dropped in for takeaway. We read 30 posts dated 6 January to 14 September 2026; 8 are about this place and 5 describe actually eating here. The other 22 only name it in a list of links under posts about other places, or describe a vintage pop-up held in the building, so we did not count them.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The room is enormous. All five posts from people who went say so — one guessed it could seat a hundred, another said the scale felt huge. One also describes high ceilings and a separate greenhouse garden with outdoor tables (too hot except in spring and autumn, they thought); another sat on a sofa at the back.
- No one reports waiting. Three posts found it nearly empty — a snowy weekday at 10 a.m., a winter Saturday lunchtime (the writer was surprised how few people there were), and a cold day on a trip. One adds that the food came out quickly. All three were winter visits, so we don't know what a summer lunchtime is like.
- Opinions on the patty split. Two posts found it juicy (in the shrimp burger and the bacon cheeseburger); one said the Meat Burger was disappointingly dry. That same writer called it a perfectly ordinary burger and said they would try somewhere else next time, while another post from November 2025 came back because they had enjoyed it on an earlier visit.
- Two posts ordered the loaded potato and they disagree. One suspected it was pre-baked and only reheated, and was let down that the inside was cold; the other found it fluffy, well matched with the chilli and cheese, and more memorable than the burger.

Three posts say the car park is large and right in front — one called it very convenient. That it is free appears only in a copied information block, which we did not rely on.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No one describes which floor they ate on or any stairs; the '1st floor' in the address is just the registered listing.
No post mentions a step at the entrance or going in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is a problem.
No post says whether the toilets are inside or separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 8 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours differ. A January 2026 visitor wrote 10:00–21:00 every day with last orders at 20:30; two copied information blocks say Mondays only run 10:00–19:00 (last orders 18:30), Tuesday to Sunday 10:00–21:00 (last orders 20:30), closed every other Tuesday. Check before going on a Monday.
- No post calls it expensive; one said the 7,500-won potato might sound pricey but not once you see it. All prices come from two 2026 posts, so we don't know earlier prices or set prices.
- No post describes coming by bus, so we don't know how far it is from a stop.
- The posts don't add up to a picture of who it suits: one went as a couple, one dropped in with a sister for takeaway. None went with children, though one notes high chairs.
- The number 0507-1431-4686 appears in two posts, both in copied information blocks. No one describes phoning ahead or booking.
- The place seems to have been called How To Play before. One post shows the sign reading 'MEAT TOWN HOW TO PLAY', and a tourism listing quoted in an AI travel-plan post says the name changed to Meat Town. We don't know when, but every post about the place we read calls it Meat Town.
- Three posts describe a vintage pop-up that took over about half the building from 25 July to 9 August 2026, with traffic chaos and an unpaved access road. They are not about the burger house, so we did not count them, and we don't know whether burgers were served during that time. Two further posts (26 July and 14 September 2026) share the same template down to the outline, sentences and FAQ, so we did not count them as visits.
