Dochidol Gadeun
도치돌가든 Dochidol is the name the restaurant shares with its own Hanwoo cattle farm in Nabeup-ri, Aewol; 'garden' is the usual Korean name-ending for a countryside barbecue house.

A Hanwoo beef house in the hills of Aewol, at 440-1 Cheondeok-ro (Eoeum-ri). In the evening people grill the assorted platter over charcoal — ₩120,000 for a medium (800g), ₩135,000 for a large (1kg); at lunch they come for ₩11,000 offal, brisket or ox-bone soup, ₩13,000 raw-beef bibimbap, or tripe hotpot at ₩20,000 a portion (two minimum). Beef tartare is ₩30,000 for 250g. We read 30 posts from September 2025 to October 2026; 21 describe a visit, and two were about other restaurants and set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Nine posts said the portions are large. A family of four on the large platter wrote they nearly burst; another family fed two adults and two children on a medium. The soups too: one post called the offal-soup bowl far bigger than usual, another left meat behind in the ox-bone soup.
- Six posts wrote that raw liver and omasum arrive free once you order grilled beef — a plate listed at ₩15,000 on its own. One couple had it taken away straight off; another suggested telling the staff beforehand if you don't eat it.
- Ten posts called the dining room large. One said the hall seats 60 at once, one mentioned a private room for families, and two noted more seating upstairs. One wrote that tables stayed free even as guests kept arriving.
- Five posts said the first round of side dishes is served and the rest comes from a self-serve bar; one called the bar spotless, another refilled the radish kimchi twice.
2 more
- Four posts noted the soups come unsalted for you to season — one family fed the brisket soup to their 15-month-old. One post found the stew served with fried rice a little salty.
- Six posts said it is not expensive; one called it a somewhat pricey place and suggested the platter if the single cuts feel steep.

Eight posts parked right in front. Three called the lot huge, and one watched it fill up over a weekday lunch; another noticed theirs was the only rental car there.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 2 of 20 posts |
|---|
Two posts said there is seating upstairs and a third only thought so. Nobody said whether the upper floor is reached by stairs only.
No post describes the entrance level or any steps up to the door; the '1st–2nd floor' in the address is just the registered listing.
Nobody mentioned a threshold or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — even the family with a 15-month-old didn't say. That means unknown, not absent.
No one described the restrooms; one post's copied info block lists an indoor toilet, which we don't count as evidence.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No one arrived by bus. Two posts recommend driving; one visitor who came by taxi couldn't get one back, and the owner drove them to their lodging.
- No post mentions waiting for a table. Three said it got busy at lunch and one found it quiet after the lunch rush — that's an absence of reports, not proof of no wait.
- Thirteen posts give the same hours, 09:00–21:00 daily, mostly copied from listing blocks. Two give last order at 20:30; on closures, two say none and two say the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays themselves.
- Prices disagree in three places. Three posts give ₩135,000 for the 1kg platter, while one recalled about ₩150,000. Fried rice was ₩2,000 in an October 2026 post but ₩3,000 on a menu copied in September. Raw-beef bibimbap was ₩12,000 in one January 2026 post and ₩13,000 from September on — a single post, so we don't call it a price rise.
- Four posts list the same phone number, 064-799-1415. Booking appears only in a copied info block and a suggestion to call ahead; no one wrote that they reserved.
- One September 2026 dinner was written up twice by the same person, and of one local blogger's three posts, only one is a first-hand visit; the other two repackage it into itineraries and aren't counted as visits.
