A takeaway Chungmu-gimbap counter at 231-3 Tongyeonghaean-ro, right in front of the Tongyeong ferry terminal. We treat it separately from the original branch next door at 233-1. It sells one thing: Chungmu-gimbap at 6,000 won a portion or 12,000 won for two, packed with radish kimchi, spicy squid-and-fishcake and siraegi soup. There is nowhere to sit, so people buy it before a ferry and eat it on deck, on an island or back at their lodging. We read 30 posts from April to October 2026; seven of them, from June to October 2026, record buying here. Twelve were about the first branch and were not counted.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Takeaway only. All seven posts took their food away, and four say you cannot eat in. They ate on the upper deck of a ferry to Yeonhwado, on Hansando, at a marina resort, on a bench, and at home an hour's drive away.
- No single portions. Three posts say the minimum is two portions, so even a solo traveller pays 12,000 won.
- One post mentions a wait: in line at 8:45 a.m. on the eve of Chuseok, food in hand at 9:02. The other six say nothing about waiting, which is not the same as there being none.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post says what floor the shop is on or whether it opens straight off the street. We don't know.
Nobody mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means no one wrote about it, not that it is a problem.
No post about this branch mentions a toilet. With takeaway only, nobody seems to have needed one, but we don't know if there is one.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 8 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours are uncertain. The three posts that give hours all say 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (one copied from a listing), and three say it closes on Sundays. Yet one visitor bought here at about 6 a.m., and another found the door locked at Saturday lunchtime in June. The 4:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. hours seen online belong to the first branch next door.
- Four posts give prices, all 6,000 won a portion and 12,000 won for two. One notes there is no discount for buying more. A post about the first branch says the price went up to 6,000 won in 2025, but none records the earlier price.
- Several posts place it right by the ferry terminal, but none says how they got there by bus or other public transport.
- None of the seven posts says who they came with, so we can't say whether it suits families, friends or couples.
- No post gives a phone number for this branch; the 055-644-1990 seen in posts is the first branch's. Nothing says whether you can phone ahead to order or reserve here.
- The first branch of the same name (233-1) is a few steps away; posts say it opens at 4:30 a.m. and has room to eat in. We left its twelve posts out of these counts, along with two posts that tagged both branches and don't say which one they bought from.
