Cafe

NAVAJO

나바호 Nabaho Navajo is the name of a Native American people of the American Southwest; the cafe styles itself as an Old West ranch house where a cowboy and a Navajo woman live together.

Compiled from 29 blog posts read in fullSources →

Navajo is a log-cabin cafe tucked into a residential alley in Yadang-dong, Paju. The interior is dressed as an Old West ranch house; the menu is coffee, milk drinks topped with corn or butterscotch cream, cheese toast and honey cake, plus beer. An americano is 6,000 won, the signature cream drinks 8,000, the sparkling Black Thunderbird 10,000 and the melting cheese toast 9,000. The americano (15 posts) and butter cream latte (12) were ordered most. We read 30 posts from July 2025 to October 2026; 29 describe a visit. Eleven went with a spouse or partner, and eight say they drove.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. All three posts that describe queuing date from the Christmas season (December 2025 to January 2026): eight groups ahead and 40 minutes at 3 p.m. on a Sunday, seven groups and about 30 minutes at 2 p.m. on a weekend. Two describe registering at a kiosk or the door and getting a KakaoTalk alert; one says staff wrote names and numbers by hand and phoned. You cannot wait inside — one person waited in their car. Another turned back at Christmas because it was too crowded. No post from February 2026 on mentions waiting, though some found the room full by mid-afternoon.
  2. Winter decorations are the draw. Eleven posts describe the Christmas tree photo spot and trimmings, ten of them posted between December 2025 and March 2026. Two February posts remarked that the tree was still up. That the Christmas theme goes up from November is something one blogger was told by the cafe.
  3. It is a cafe that also pours beer: 14 posts saw it on the menu, but only one drank any (a West Coast IPA at 13,000 won). One couple noted they could not, having driven.
  4. Expect sweetness: 19 posts call the drinks or toast sweet. The butter cream latte drew warnings that it is very sweet and divisive; nearly everyone calls the cheese toast sweet-and-salty.
4 more
  1. Ten posts saw the wooden deck terrace for themselves. One saw dog owners sitting outside; another mentions fire pits. The rule that pets are allowed only outdoors comes from copied listing text.
  2. There is a ginger cat. Four posts met a cat at the cafe, and one found its name — Gamja, "potato" — on the cafe's Instagram. Two others were unsure whether it belongs to the cafe or is a stray.
  3. Six posts saw the offer of a leather bracelet for writing a review, and two took one. The 15,000-won value quoted in one post is hearsay.
  4. Ordering is done on a tablet, kiosk or QR code at the counter, per five posts. One adds that each order gets a randomly generated nickname to call out.

Parking

21 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park21 of 29 posts

Parking is the forecourt in front of the cafe. Of 26 posts that touch on parking, 21 parked there themselves. Nine call it roomy; two say it fills up — nearly full even on a weekday in January 2026, and on weekends in December 2025. The figure of about 13 spaces, with staff pointing you elsewhere when full, appears in several posts but is copied from the cafe's own listing. One post warns the surrounding villa streets are narrow.

Getting inside

Toilet inside6 of 29 posts
Separate restrooms4 of 29 posts

No one mentions floors. The address says the whole ground floor, but no post says whether there is a basement or upstairs seating.

Nobody says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One post only warns that the entrance is a little narrow. That is an absence of reports, not a finding of no access.

Six posts say the restrooms are inside the cafe and four that they are separate for men and women. One places them next to the counter; another notes two stalls in the women's room, with soap and tissues.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions on size split: seven posts found it roomy with well-spaced tables, three found it smaller than expected, one called it mid-sized. Two note the high ceiling. One found the music a bit loud; another found it quiet.
  • Prices run 6,000–10,000 won for drinks and 9,000 for toast or cake, so two drinks and a toast come to a little over 20,000 won. Two posts call it pricey (the signature drinks especially); one found the portions small for the price, another found them generous.
  • Opening hours appear in 26 posts, all copied from the listing. Twenty-four agree on noon to 10 p.m. and closed Mondays. Nine say Fridays and Saturdays run to 10:55 p.m., one says 11 p.m., one says Saturdays only. Thirteen give last orders at 9:20 p.m. One April 2026 post lists 11 a.m.–9 p.m. and one September post says Sundays close at 9 p.m.; each is a lone outlier.
  • No visitor says they came by train or bus. The "928 m from Yadang Station exit 3" and "15 minutes on foot" lines are copied from the listing. One regular of over a year says it is a hard walk and points to the 082 village bus that stops out front. Eight posts say they drove.
  • Six posts list it as a no-kids zone, all in copied listing text; one of them quotes a notice limiting that to weekends and holidays from 1 December 2025 to 3 January 2026. No one went with children, so we do not know the current policy.
  • Several posts give the same phone number, 0507-1421-1495. None says whether the cafe takes reservations; one notes it seems to be booked out for shoots from time to time.
  • Around ten posts repeat the same lines — an Old West ranch turned family home, a cowboy and a Native woman who met after the territorial wars. That is the cafe's own blurb, so details lifted from it (such as the "wide outdoor terrace") were not counted. No post discloses sponsorship; eleven say they paid their own way.
  • One October 2026 post reports a new item, the cheese toast with mashed potato and sausage (12,000 won). A July 2025 regular notes the animal hides laid out when the cafe opened in 2024 are gone.
