Entori
엔토리 Japanese for the last two syllables is tori, chicken — one visitor reads the name as a promise of a yakitori house, and takes it as a good sign.

Entori is a Japanese drinking-and-eating house two minutes from exit 4 at Suji-gucheong, in the lane behind the Daiso, on the ground floor of the Gyeongbang Plaza building. The cooks trained and worked in Japan, and some writers call it a kappo rather than an izakaya. Inside it is almost all one long counter, with one or two four-seat tables at the very back. It opens only in the evening, and there is no printed menu — a QR code at each seat carries whatever is being served that day. The two pillars are a five-skewer yakitori course the chef assembles for you and a plate of dry-aged seasonal sashimi; the sake is sold by the glass as well as the bottle. The posts we read run from November 2024 to September 2026.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart
- The room is essentially one counter. Twenty-two posts talk about sitting at it, and one puts its capacity at about ten. What is at the back shifts between accounts — two four-seat tables, only one, a three-or-four-seater — and that is not miscounting but time passing: November 2024 and January 2026 say one, the summer 2026 posts say two. Two writers conclude that a pair will be put at the counter; three advise anyone arriving in a group of three or more to ask ahead whether a table is free. If the counter suits you it is the best thing here — twelve writers describe watching the fish sliced and the skewers turned in front of them. One who did get a back table found herself directly under the speaker and thought it loud.
- There is no printed menu, and the list changes with the season. You scan the QR code at your seat to see what is on that day — eighteen writers ordered this way. One likes that ice, water and cutlery can all be asked for through it without catching anyone's eye; two others miss being able to look before they sit, and one simply wants paper. Two posts note dishes that are not listed on Naver at all. The prices carry the consequence: the assorted sashimi runs anywhere from ₩24,000 to ₩55,000 across these posts, the chazuke appears at ₩8,000 and at ₩6,000, the abalone-liver udon at ₩18,000 and ₩22,000. A writer who came back in August 2026 found the list longer than it had been in May, and the single-piece option on one dish gone.
- The free cabbage that lands when you sit is the most-written-about plate in the shop — twenty posts mention it, which puts it alongside the assorted sashimi (twenty-one) and the yakitori course (twenty-five). Raw, cut in big pieces, under a dressing, with two refills allowed and ₩1,000 after that by the menu's own account; two writers actually took one. The odd part is that nobody can say what the dressing is: shio-tare (twice), something startlingly peppery and addictive, instant-ramen seasoning, a faint curry note, plain soy, salt and pepper. Opinion splits too — several are delighted by it, while one writer in January 2026 finds it nothing like the sweet cabbage of Japan, and another in April 2025 tastes the raw green through the sauce.
- This is not a place to eat and run. Four writers say the food is slow, and one puts it plainly: nearly forty minutes from ordering to the sashimi arriving (August 2026, a six o'clock Friday booking). Another advises putting your second round in early so the meal does not stall; a third wanted the chicken-skin skewer, was told it would take a while, and changed her order. One notes that tables do not turn quickly here and recommends booking for that reason alone. The slowness is not neglect, though — three writers point out that the yakitori comes in two or three rounds precisely so that each skewer reaches you hot.

- The cooking is explained while it happens. The same scenes recur: each fish named as the sashimi goes down (four posts), the cut of each skewer described (two), and the glass of sake filled until it floods the wooden box beneath it (five). Several write about being looked after — one whose companion fell ill mid-meal was sent off with the food boxed and medicine found for her (April 2026); one was given scallop and caviar when the sea urchin ran out; one asked for rice and was not charged; one evening a pot of crab and prawn soup went out to every table on the house. One writer records the opposite (January 2026): the part-time staff seem to change often, she says, and she kept getting clipped, trailing answers. Another found the fish names came too fast to hold on to.

Parking

| Posts saying you can park | 3 of 27 posts |

Ten posts carry the line about two free hours in the Gyeongbang Plaza garage; three of them actually parked. The rest is the shop's Naver listing, copied. What the three who drove say: the garage entrance is confusing and sits next to the octopus restaurant two doors down, and you come back down by lift; two hours registered still came to ₩25,000, so do not bring the car if you plan to stay; better to use the district office car park than the building's own. One writer says there is no dedicated parking at all (January 2026) and points to the public lots near the district office. One mentions free parking at the station after six on weekdays, another adds the lifelong-learning centre lot. We could not establish which of these is currently right.

It is on the ground floor. Two posts say so: one (June 2026) notes it sits on the first floor of the building and the room is on the small side, another (March 2026) that it is slightly hidden at street level but not hard to find. Nobody places it upstairs or in a basement, and nobody mentions steps. But "ground floor" and "no step at the door" are not the same sentence — not one post says anything about the threshold itself. One writer notes that coming from the car park you take a lift down to it.
Nobody writes about the step at the door, and nobody writes about a ramp. Across twenty-eight posts, not one says whether a wheelchair or a pushchair can get in. Here is everything we do know: it is on the ground floor (two posts), five people call the room narrow, and since almost every seat is a bar stool there is no low seating. Whether there is a lip at the entrance, how much room there is behind the counter stools, where in the building the toilet is and whether stairs stand between — we could not establish any of it. One writer came with a child (three of them, so they took the back table) and says nothing about a high chair or a threshold either. If it matters to you, ringing ahead is the only reliable way to find out — ten posts give the shop's number as 0507-1371-4708, which is not the one on our licence record.
The toilet is not inside the shop. Two writers say so from having gone: one records men's and women's toilets *outside* the premises (January 2026), and one leaves the more telling note — "there's a door code for the toilet, so check before you go" (March 2025). Read together, it is the building's shared facility, locked, and you ask for the number. No post says there is one inside. Four posts state that men's and women's are separate, but three of those are the Naver facilities list copied whole — booking, separate toilets, wi-fi, mobile payment, parking, all in one run of words. Only the first writer above wrote it in her own voice. Nobody says what floor it is on, how far, or how big.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Eleven of the twenty-eight posts we read were given something in exchange for a review. Usually a tofu dessert called mochiri-dofu; twice a highball instead. Not one post declares a sponsorship, and thirteen go out of their way to say they paid their own way — what changes hands is a last small plate, not the bill. Still, it is worth knowing while you read: writers who knew about the review offer make up nearly half the corpus, and ten of those eleven finish on a positive note. We cannot say how much it moved them. We can say that the sharpest lines anyone wrote about this place — that the seasoning is thin, that they would not come back, that the service was curt — also came from inside that eleven.
- Writers disagree about whether it is expensive. Five call it very reasonable — a hundred thousand won filled two people; good quality for the money; that much food for ₩18,000 a head. Three say the opposite: dear for the portion, not exactly cheap, priced high enough that the room skews over thirty. The split is not by date — both camps run from January to August 2026. It is by what they ordered: the ones who found it cheap built the meal around the yakitori course and the chazuke, the ones who found it dear ordered the assorted sashimi. Across these posts a single dish runs from ₩6,000 to ₩55,000. One writer says a dish per person is compulsory; only that one writer says it, so we have not confirmed it still holds.
- Whether you wait comes down to whether you booked. Only one writer actually queued: nine in the evening on a weekday, put her name down, and got in thirty to forty minutes later (June 2026). Two more watched the room fill — one saw a queue form the moment she was seated on a Friday evening, another saw the counter go full and a line start behind it. Two writers walked straight in; both on weekdays, one without booking at all. Nine rang ahead, and six of those sat down with no wait. What the posts say about booking: same-day calls are taken (two), weekends only up to seven in the evening (one), parties of one to four by phone until seven (one), and otherwise you join the waitlist through the Catch Table app (three). Several assert that weekends are long — but not one of them has queued on a weekend. They had heard it, and so they came on a weekday, or they phoned first.
- Getting here by train is easy. Three writers put it at two minutes on foot from exit 4 at Suji-gucheong on the Shinbundang line; a fourth says one minute and calls the access good. Two describe the turning — the lane behind the Daiso — one says it is slightly tucked away on the ground floor but not hard to find, and two warn that the sign is in Japanese and you may walk past it. Two give the distance as 163 or 161 metres, which is the figure Naver's map supplies. Since the place is open evenings only, it is worth noting that no post mentions the last train.
- The hours moved over these two years and we could not pin down the current ones. Nineteen posts write them down; laid out by date they read: November 2024, six in the evening until one, closed Mondays; between October 2025 and January 2026, opening at five or half past five and closing at midnight or one; from March 2026 onward, six until midnight, which eight posts give. Scattered among them are single sightings of a four o'clock opening (March 2026), an eleven o'clock close (July 2026) and half past eleven (May 2026). One post says the shop never closes for a regular day off (January 2026) and none after it names one. Last orders are given as 10:30pm, a kitchen close at 11pm, and midnight. That it opens only in the evening is the one thing every post agrees on. One writer mentions the chefs shutting for three days in April 2026 to study in Japan, so if you are coming any distance, the phone is faster than any of this.
- The denominator is twenty-eight, not thirty. Two of the thirty confirmed posts (February 2025 and December 2024) are scrapes: the shop's Naver page — menu, hours, facilities, the tallies under its visitor reviews — copied out with no first person in it, no order, no date, no company. One of them lists over fifty prices, which is a loss, but they are not prices anyone paid on a visit, so we did not count them. All twenty-eight of the rest record eating. One more thing: twenty-eight posts need not mean twenty-eight people, though here no writer appears twice. Four of them do describe several visits inside a single post — the place they have been to most since moving in, the place they went back to, the place they save for occasions, the place they were at again.
