A charcoal-grill beef restaurant in the Dream Tower 2 building in Okjeong's central shopping district, Yangju. Each table gets a charcoal brazier; rib-finger meat and hanger steak are sold by the 100 g. The most-ordered item is a 400 g set of both with doenjang or kimchi stew, 53,900 won in posts from September 2025 (49,900 won before). Side dishes and lettuce are refilled from a self-serve bar. The first posts in June 2025 call it the former Apgujeong Hwarogui; several say the same owner dropped that franchise name and renamed it Jeong Sogalbi. We read 30 posts from June 2025 to October 2026; 25 are visits. Two are about other restaurants, and three are two listicles and the owner's own event post.

Rows without a count: 9 of 15 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Staff set the first round of side dishes; after that you help yourself at the self-serve bar. Seventeen posts did so, listing lettuce, chillies, garlic and kimchi; one grilled whole garlic cloves from the bar. Four sauces come to the table (wine-roasted salt, a mushroom-wasabi relish, a spicy soy and ssamjang); that the owner makes them himself is what posts were told.
- The owner or staff sometimes grill the first few pieces. Five posts say so, and were told to cook the hanger steak first and the rib meat well done, like pork belly. It is not guaranteed: one post was told they may not manage it when it is busy, and several posts had a family member do the grilling.
- Writing a receipt review earns free meat. Fifteen posts mention it, and the gift changed over time: 100 g of beef rib in four June 2025 posts, 150 g of pork ribs in five posts from July to October 2025, and beef tripe in six posts from February 2026. Many posts also got free jjondeugi (a chewy snack to toast on the coals) or drinks.
- Fifteen posts call it clean, and say why: braziers and grill hoods with no grease build-up, pre-set tables kept under covers, a visible open kitchen, and even a clean toilet. Eleven call the room spacious, with four-person tables and pairs of them pushed together.

- Family outings are the largest group at seven posts; four went as a couple and one with friends. Five went with children and five saw high chairs. Some posts say the staff gave children puzzles, drinks or bubble toys, and one saw phone stands at each table.

Parking
13 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 13 of 25 posts |

The building has a parking tower. Thirteen posts say you can park, five give a capacity of about 150 cars, and one says you can park on level 2 and take the lift to the restaurant without stepping outside. The first three hours free and 3,000 won per extra hour come from copied listing text. Posts disagree on which levels the car park occupies: basement, levels 1–2, or levels 4–6.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Lift to the floor | 2 of 25 posts |
|---|
No post says from experience which floor the restaurant is on. The address and copied listings say ground floor of Dream Tower 2, and two posts took the lift down from the car park to reach it. That suggests it is not a basement unit, but nobody says so directly.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether they came in with a wheelchair or stroller. 'Wheelchair-accessible entrance' appears only in listing text copied by three posts. One post says the tables are far enough apart to park a stroller, but that is about the room, not the way in. This means nobody wrote about it, not that access is poor.
No post says whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or in the building corridor. One post found it clean; separate men's and women's toilets appear only in listing text copied by three posts.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Until spring 2025 this unit was Apgujeong Hwarogui Yangju Okjeong. Posts from 2025 say it went independent in March of that year, and the owner's July 2025 post still linked a KakaoTalk channel under the old name. A September 2026 post also says 'this March', a sign it copied the same introduction.
- 'Top-grade Black Angus', 'White House beef', 'the only place in Korea serving it chilled' and 'hanger steak sold only on the day' are the restaurant's own lines, repeated in the same order by more than ten posts; we do not rely on them. One post checked the origin itself and found it was American. Twenty-three of the 25 visit posts say nothing about sponsorship, and in July 2025 the owner asked event winners to write blog reviews.
- One post went by public transport. Another says there are many bus stops nearby, and a third suggests taking the bus because the area is congested. Stop names and walking times (three minutes from the Smart City Complex Center stop, for example) appear only in listing text copied by a listicle.
- No post actually waited. Six say there may be a queue at weekends or peak times, but all of that is guesswork or hearsay. Three saw waiting chairs outside, one likening them to a bus shelter. Several went early in the evening or at opening and were seated straight away.
- Reservations: four posts say you can book on Naver, and one arrived to find its booked table already set. A September 2026 post noticed many booked guests arriving from about 6 pm. More than ten posts give the phone number 0507-1406-0596, and one copied a note asking large groups to phone the restaurant.
- Posts differ on a minimum first order. Two June 2025 posts say you can order by the 100 g, so even one person can eat here; a September 2026 post says the first order must be at least 300 g.
- Opening hours changed over time. Three June 2025 posts say 12:00–23:00 daily. One September 2025 post gives 16:00–23:00 Mon–Tue, 16:00–01:00 Wed–Fri, 12:30–01:00 Sat and 12:30–23:00 Sun. Nine posts from October 2025 to February 2026 agree on 16:00–02:00 weekdays, 12:30–02:00 Saturday and 12:30–23:00 Sunday. Two September 2026 posts say it again opens at noon Monday to Saturday; they disagree on Sunday closing (01:00 in copied listing text, 23:00 in what one blogger was told). Most of this is copied into post headers, and no post mentions a closing day.
- Prices rose between August and September 2025. The 400 g rib-and-hanger set with stew was 49,900 won in three posts up to August 2025 (one of them the owner's) and 53,900 won from September. Per-100 g prices went from 10,900 won (rib) and 11,900 won (hanger) in July 2025 to 11,900 and 12,900 won from October 2025. Only one post found it expensive: in September 2026 it said the 7,000-won cold noodles were dessert-sized but not dessert-priced. Three posts called the prices fair or good value. One September 2026 post noted a 3,900-won soju promotion.
