Baekman Jokbal Bossam

백만족발보쌈 Baekman means one million; jokbal is braised pig's trotters and bossam is boiled pork eaten wrapped in greens.

Compiled from 26 blog posts read in fullSources →

A trotters-and-boiled-pork shop in unit 105 of the shopping block in front of the Gyeryong The Park Foret apartments, Okjeong-dong, Yangju. It opens at 3 p.m.; a medium plate of trotters is 37,900 won. Lettuce, fresh kimchi, yuzu-pickled radish, fermented squid and a bean-sprout soup come as standard, and you refill sides yourself at a self-serve bar. The room is small, five or six tables, and several posts noted a steady stream of takeout and delivery orders. We read 30 posts from 19 March to 19 October 2026: 26 ate in or went in to pick up, 4 had it delivered or only introduced the place. Seven of the 30 disclosed sponsorship.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Side dishes are self-serve refills: fourteen of the posts that visited said so, and several noted the fermented squid is on the bar too. One post asked for more of the bean-sprout soup and the kitchen made a fresh pot; another got a free refill.
  2. Twenty posts said the trotters had no porky smell; none said otherwise. Many of those twenty, though, are sponsored or carry the same promotional hashtags.
  3. The room is small: of eight posts that counted tables, five said five and three said six — one specified four four-seaters and one six-seater. Two said staff pushed tables together for bigger groups; two noticed tables outside. Two said the room is not large.
  4. Nine posts went with children; four saw high chairs, and steamed egg and tuna rice balls were the usual orders for kids. Ten posts went as a family.

  1. Eight posts said the portions were big — one said a medium left leftovers for three, another that two people could not finish one.

Parking

14 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park14 of 26 posts

You can park — fourteen posts did. The lot behind the shops is tiny (one counted about three spaces), so when it is full you tell the apartment guardhouse you are eating at the trotters shop and park inside the complex; five posts did exactly that. A March post suggested walking instead.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 26 posts read)
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 26 posts read)

Two posts placed it on the ground floor of the shopping block, right on the street.

We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. Posts say ground floor, but nobody mentioned the threshold — that is silence, not a no.

Only one post mentioned the toilet: it is in the shopping building, not inside the restaurant. Nobody said whether it is split by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions on the spicy trotters split. Four posts called them hot; a March post found them sharp enough to steer children to the plain version, while another thought even spice-averse diners would be fine.
  • Only one post covered public transport: a stop for Yangju's on-demand Ttokta bus is right outside. Nobody described getting there by subway or regular bus.
  • No post reported waiting, but five said the room was already full or filled up fast at dinner — so don't read that as no wait in the evening.
  • No post went with friends or alone; nearly every post that named its company went as a family (ten).
  • Hours: 22 posts give 3 p.m. to midnight and 20 say closed Mondays; three add last orders at 11 p.m. Almost all of this is copied listing info. One post warned it may close early when meat runs out, and another couldn't order delivery one evening because the front legs had sold out.
  • Prices vary a little by date. A March 2026 post had the medium half-and-half at 38,900 won, June and August posts at 40,900 — one March post isn't enough to call it a rise. Four posts agree on 37,900 won for the medium trotters. The pickup discount is 2,000 won in most posts; one copied October listing says 3,000.
  • The phone number, 0507-1331-1675, is consistent across more than ten posts. One post says if you call ahead to book they'll have the table set for your arrival, but no post actually booked.
  • A dozen or more posts from March to August 2026 repeat the same hashtag set and the same lines about the owner's state cooking licence and the health benefits of trotters; seven of them disclose sponsorship. The award, the front-leg claim for large sizes and 'limited quantity daily' are the shop's own words, copied — we didn't count them.
