Fried chicken

Puradak Hanam Misayeok-jeom

푸라닭 하남미사역점 Dak is chicken; the rest of the brand name is a coinage, and the tail marks this as the branch by Hanam's Misa station.

Data as of · Published ·

Puradak Hanam Misa-yeok is a branch of a fried-chicken chain, 340 metres from exit 3 of Misa station on Line 5, in the Hyosung Harrington Tower First building. It opens at eleven in the morning and closes at ten to three the next morning (last orders 2:10am) — five posts give the same hours. Most of its trade is delivery and collection, but there is a hall, an outdoor terrace, and draught beer. A large television carries football, and sitting down gets you prawn crackers and a ketchup-and-mayonnaise cabbage salad on the house. It has not always stood where it stands now: it moved here once. The posts we read run from May 2025 to September 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

These hours are counted from the posts we read. Shops change them without notice — check Naver Place before you go. Place — check hours

What sets it apart

  1. Eighteen people wrote about this shop; seven of them went to it. The other eleven ordered through an app and ate at home, and their posts contain not one line about seating, waiting or parking — which is why we left them out of the denominator. On a page that asks what it is like to go somewhere, they have nothing to answer with. Even among the seven, half only collected: three sat down in the hall or on the terrace, three went in to pick up and saw the room, and one who buys from here often writes plainly that she has never actually eaten in. This is still not a place without a table — the three who sat describe the draught beer, the free snacks and who else was in the room, and one of them adds that she had only ever walked past before, and was glad she went in.
  2. There are tables outside, and four posts mention them. One writer, worn out on an evening walk, went in and had her chicken and beer on the terrace — hot chicken, cool air, cold beer, all three at once (October 2025). The same post urges anyone reading to use the outdoor seats while the weather lasts, and by the end of it she is already saying the terrace has turned cold. A June visitor collecting an order notes the outside seats were out because the weather was good. How many seats, whether there is a roof or a heater — nobody writes it down.
  3. Some things only come if you sit. The three writers who ate in the hall all record the same spread: prawn crackers, a cabbage salad dressed with ketchup and mayonnaise, pickled radish. One greets the salad as the thing you never get with delivery; another calls it simply the best thing you can put beside fried chicken. An August 2026 visitor lists mango and coleslaw alongside the crackers, so what arrives seems to shift a little. Nothing suggests it is charged for — but nobody says whether a refill is. One writer only remarks, of other places, that some now charge for a second bowl.
  4. Football goes on here. There is a large television in the room and, on match days, people gather to watch it (January 2026). The branch advertises live coverage of named European clubs, and three delivery posts copy that line across verbatim (none of those three has been to the shop, so we did not count it as anything seen). The one writer who sat down through an evening describes the room around her: couples over chicken and beer, colleagues out drinking after work, a couple with a child. Which matches, when, and whether you can hold a table — we could not establish.
  5. Dogs stay outside, and outside is an option. Two posts agree. One (January 2026): no animals indoors, but there are tables outdoors, so in good weather you can eat with your dog. The other (June 2025), picking up an order, photographed the shop's own notice — cats, lizards, hamsters and the rest are asked to wait outside. The first writer never made it that day; it was too cold, and the post ends with her promising herself chicken on the terrace with the dog once spring comes. Whether there is a water bowl or anywhere to tie a lead, nobody says.

Getting there

Getting inside

Nobody writes down what floor it is on. Our licence record puts it at unit 1019 on the first floor of the Hyosung Harrington Tower First, and several posts copy an address with that unit number in it. But not one writer says 'first floor', and not one mentions steps. One notes the car park is in the basement, so arriving by car means coming up — without saying how far. The building holds many units — number 1066 at the same address is a different restaurant, and posts about that one give directions (past the car park entrance rather than the coffee shop, next to the convenience store). Nothing like that exists for this door.

Nobody writes about a step at the door, and nobody writes about a ramp. Across all eighteen posts, not one says whether a wheelchair or a pushchair can get in. What we do know: two writers found the hall roomier than expected, with a good number of tables; there is terrace seating outside; the car park is in the basement. Whether there is a lip at the entrance, which way the door swings, how much room there is between tables, whether stairs stand between you and the toilet — none of it. One writer saw a couple there with a child, but nobody mentions a high chair. If it matters, ringing 031-795-9206 is the reliable way to find out — ten posts give that number and it matches our licence record.

Not a line about the toilet anywhere. Three writers ate in the hall, one of them settled in over a beer for the evening, and none says whether the toilet is inside the shop or shared with the building, whether men's and women's are separate, or whether it is locked behind a code. The building is a mixed-use block where shared facilities are common — but that is our guess, not something we read, and writing a guess down is how the next person stops checking. So we leave it blank. If you mean to sit a while over a drink, you will have to look for yourself.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 18 posts we gathered, 11 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Almost nobody paid the list price. Of the twelve posts that write a price down, twelve also write down a discount: an ₩8,000 app coupon, ₩10,000 for signing up to a card, a telecom membership voucher, ₩5,000 off on one app and ₩3,000 on another, a messenger gift voucher, a traditional-market voucher, a government consumption voucher. So a ₩27,800 bird cost one writer ₩19,800, a ₩27,900 one cost another ₩15,900, and a ₩27,400 half-and-half came to ₩20,400. One of them puts it squarely: she would buy it again, but not at ₩27,800 — she will wait for a real discount. The price also depends on where you order — one post sets the chain's own site at ₩22,900 against ₩23,900 on a delivery app the same day, and blames the commission; another paid ₩2,900 in delivery fees and reckoned her ₩5,000 coupon was worth ₩2,000. Nobody writes down what it costs to eat in the shop.
  • Nobody records a wait. The one writer who describes the room says it was nearly empty when she walked in and filled up soon after — she was seated at once — and adds that it had always looked busy whenever she passed (October 2025, evening). The other two say nothing about queuing. All three, though, came on a weekday or late in the evening, and nobody in these posts has been on a weekend or a match night — which, in a shop that puts football on a big screen, may be a different place entirely. Booking is the same story: two delivery posts copy a line saying reservations are taken, but nobody in these posts actually booked.
  • The denominator is not twenty-four, and not eighteen, but seven. Here is the arithmetic. Collection brought back twenty-four confirmed posts. Six were not about this shop: two about a beef-tartare restaurant in unit 1066 of the same building, one about a different chicken chain a few streets away, and three about Umm Burger & Wings — a burger brand the same company owns, which the name dragged in but whose address and check-ins are its own. The remaining eighteen all ate this shop's chicken. Of those, seven went to the shop, so seating, waiting, parking and toilets are counted out of seven. The menu's 'how many ate it' counts out of eighteen, which is why the two numbers look different. Not one post declares a sponsorship — twelve state they paid their own way, and two were treated to a gift voucher by a sibling or a partner.
