An octopus stir-fry restaurant in the dining strip across from the Yangju immigration office in Deokgye-dong. It serves plain octopus, octopus with pork belly, and octopus with beef brisket, cooked on a round griddle at your table, and you choose mild, medium or hot. Perilla leaves, flying-fish roe, seaweed, pickled radish and a mussel broth come by default, with corn and egg poured around the rim. The meal ends with fried rice, which all seven visitors had. Only one post, from March 2025, gave prices: 15,000 won for octopus-and-pork-belly and 2,000 won for the fried rice. We read 8 posts dated February 2025 to September 2026. We set one aside because it was about another restaurant, which leaves seven visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You barely touch the griddle yourself. Four posts say the owner comes to the table to cook: he adds the bean sprouts once the octopus is nearly done, cuts everything up with scissors, and fries the rice in front of you. One writer says there was nothing for them to do, and another says he pressed the rice until it crisped like a pancake.
- The room is small. Four posts called it not spacious or cosy, and two counted about eight four-person tables. One post notes the seating is chairs at tables rather than on the floor. Three posts described the small room as very clean.

Five posts found parking easy. The restaurant sits in a cluster of buildings, so you can take any free spot in front of them, and one post says there is no fee to settle. Three posts called the parking roomy, though none gave a number of spaces.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 7 posts read) |

Just one post mentions the floor, saying the restaurant is on the ground floor and easy to find. No other post brings it up.
We don't know if there is a step at the entrance or if a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That isn't a no: nobody wrote about it.
We don't know if the toilet is inside the restaurant or if it's split by gender. Nobody mentioned it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Posts split on the heat. Three found it spicy. One writer who can't handle heat struggled even with mild, and another put medium a touch hotter than Shin Ramyun. One post said the opposite, that it would suit people who avoid strong flavours, and one said only that medium didn't send them reaching for water.
- The restaurant has moved once. A post by the owners' daughter says it used to be bigger, two buildings over, and reopened smaller. We don't know when, but it was before our earliest visit in autumn 2024, so every post we read describes the current room. Her post wasn't paid, but it does come from the family.
- We know very little about prices. Only one post, from a March 2025 visit, listed menu prices. The corn-and-egg refill went from free to paid: a June 2025 post remembered when it cost nothing, and a May 2026 post put it at 1,000 won, the same as extra fish roe. No post gave a total for a meal.
- Five posts gave opening hours and they agree. Four list 11:30 to 23:00, and all five say it closes every Tuesday. Three of these are copied blocks listed with the address and phone number. Nobody mentioned a break time or last order.
- Only one post covers public transport: about a 10-minute walk from Deokgye Station. No post mentions buses, and others talk about driving, one noting the area is hard to get around without a car.
- No post reports waiting. One walked in on a weekday evening without booking and was seated at once. Another said the room was too busy to photograph, also on a weekday evening. We don't know how long the wait is on weekend evenings.
- Three posts give the same phone number, 031-858-9098. We don't know if it takes reservations. One post suggests calling ahead for groups or weekend evenings, but nobody actually booked.
- Visitors came with different company. Two posts were with friends, one with a husband, and one with family. Only one post mentions bringing a child, recalling a previous visit when the child acted up too much to enjoy the meal. Nobody said whether there are high chairs.
