A sourdough bakery-café at 37 Bonghwang-ro (Noseo-dong) on Gyeongju's Geumridan-gil. It opens at 9 a.m. in a hanok building with its rafters exposed; you order at the counter and coffee and plates are brought to your table. The most-ordered items were the cardamom bun (5,300 won, 12 posts), the soft egg with chili oil plate (14,500 won, 9 posts) and bread and butter (8,000 won, 8 posts); an Americano was 6,300 won in October posts. Three posts say it moved here from an earlier spot near the old town wall. We read 30 posts from July 30 to October 28, 2026; one was about a different café and one we did not count as a visit, leaving 28.

What sets it apart
- You can watch the baking. Ten posts saw dough being shaped and loaves baked behind the counter or at the back; one family wrote that their child was fascinated by the bakers.
- Seven posts waited and eight walked straight in. The waits they recorded were 10, 15–20, 19, 20 and 40 minutes — the 40 was a weekend at 10 a.m. with about 15 groups ahead. One post arrived at 9:10 on a weekday and was already number 12. Those who walked in mostly came on weekdays or in rain. You register at the CatchTable kiosk by the door, choosing hall, terrace or takeaway, and get called by phone.
- There is outdoor seating — eight posts mention it, one counting two small round tables. One post advised against it because it faces the people queuing out front.

No parking at the café. Five posts said so directly and none said otherwise. Drivers used Gyeongju Public Parking Lot No. 1 (Nodong-dong 191), about two minutes' walk, or the Bonghwangdae public lot; one post found the narrow one-way lanes hard to navigate.

We don't know which floor it is on. Many posts call it a hanok building, but none mention floors or stairs — that means nobody said, not that there are none.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether wheelchairs or strollers can get in. One post went with a toddler but didn't describe the entrance.
The toilet is outside. Both posts that mention it describe going out through a door beside the counter; one says it is unisex. Both found it clean.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Staff impressions are split: three posts found them curt or unfriendly, two praised them for seating guests or rearranging tables for four. One of the negative posts came on a crowded festival day.
- Drink prices went up between September and October: posts through September show 6,000 won for an Americano, 6,500 latte, 7,500 vanilla bean latte and 7,000 milk tea; October posts show 6,300, 6,600, 7,700 and 7,700. Bread prices stayed the same. Five posts called it expensive.
- Opening hours changed between September and October. Nine posts through September listed Wednesday and Thursday closures with last orders at 4:30 p.m.; twelve October posts list Thursday as the only closed day, nine of them noting a 4 p.m. close on Wednesdays. All of these were copied from the shop's listing, and several posts say a monthly schedule goes up on Instagram — check before going.
- No post covers the shop before its move. One says it used to be near the old town wall, one noticed the location had changed, and one calls it an expanded relocation; nobody gave a date. Every post we read is about the current shop at 37 Bonghwang-ro.
- Nobody described getting there by bus or train. One post took a bus from Gyeongju Station into town; others say it is three minutes' walk from Bonghwangdae and Geumgwanchong.
- Five posts give the same phone number, 070-7789-2072, but none say it takes reservations. What posts describe is CatchTable queueing, on site or remote; two say the kiosk opens for sign-ups at 8:40 a.m., twenty minutes before opening.
- Two posts from the same #오늘클립챌린지 campaign follow an identical Q&A template; one lists no prices and contradicts itself on hours, so we did not count it as a visit. The claim that the building is a 1944 former fire station was repeated from the shop, not something we could count.
