A charcoal dakgalbi house on Sinsaembat-ro in Sinbuk-eup, Chuncheon, on the road up to Soyang Dam. Bone-in chicken thigh comes in three flavours — salt, soy and gochujang — at 16,000 won for 230 g; a three-person set with all three plus grilled deodeok, makguksu and doenjang stew is 71,000 won. You grill it yourself on a charcoal grate at the table and order from a tablet. We read 30 posts from 28 September to 21 October 2026; 16 describe a visit. Ten were about the restaurant's booth at the Gongjicheon dakgalbi festival (9,900 won a plate), and we did not count those as visits here.

What sets it apart
- Expect a wait at weekends and on holidays. Of eleven posts that mention waiting, seven did wait — over 30 minutes, about 20 minutes on the Hangul Day weekend, exactly an hour, and one counted 40–50 parties ahead as normal. The three that walked straight in came on a Monday lunchtime, at opening, and at 10:40. Several posts advise joining the queue remotely through the CatchTable app before you arrive.
- There is a proper waiting area. Six posts describe it, and several mention a wood fire beside it; one says the fire kept them warm through a chilly evening wait.
- You do the grilling. Six posts say staff do not cook for you, and many warn that the charcoal runs hot so the meat needs frequent turning. Several were told to grill salt first, then soy, then gochujang. Three posts say the chicken arrives par-grilled from the kitchen; one was not sure.
- It is a big place. Eight posts call it spacious; it spreads across a main hall and several annexes, and posts often note which building they were sent to. Six posts parked on site, five of them describing large lots in front and behind.

Getting inside
No post says which floor you eat on or whether there are stairs.
Nobody mentions steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. That means we don't know, not that there are none.
We don't know whether the toilets are inside the dining rooms. One post found them smart and equipped with a baby-changing table; separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied info blocks.

Of the 18 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Outdoor seating is disputed. A 29 September post says there are outdoor tables; a 28 September post says the terrace tables are not in use, and a 20 October post says the yard where people used to eat is now a garden and waiting area. That is one against two, and we cannot date the change.
- No one describes arriving by bus. The advice to take bus 11 or 12 from Chuncheon Station is copied information; every post that says how they came drove.
- Eight posts give opening hours of 10:30–21:30, mostly copied from the listing. Seven put last orders at 20:30 and one at 20:40; two say it opens every day of the year.
- No post booked by phone. The number 033-241-5392 comes from copied info blocks, and what posts call a reservation is CatchTable remote queuing.
- The 9,900-won festival plate is not the restaurant's price. The receipt discount swap with Soul Roastery café appears in nearly every post in near-identical wording, so we treat it as copied promotion rather than evidence.
