A tofu house in a converted farmhouse at 115 Jochimnyeong-ro, Girin-myeon, Inje. People come for tofu you fry yourself in perilla oil on a cast-iron plate (13,000 won) and tofu hot pot (13,000 won per person, two minimum), or soybean-pulp stew with rice (12,000 won), with buckwheat noodles (8,000), boiled pork (25,000) or crepe rolls (7,000) on the side; one order of grilled tofu plus hot pot for two came to 39,000 won in several posts. What sets it apart
- You grill the tofu yourself: fourteen posts said staff don't do it for you. A sign on the wall says to let the underside turn golden and flip it only once; one writer noticed it too late, another warned about spattering oil. One post saw neighbouring tables mixing rice and side dishes on the hot plate afterwards.
- About seven side dishes come first; refills are self-serve from a side-dish bar, which twelve posts mentioned. Tofu salad, braised potatoes, stir-fried kimchi, fish cake, dried radish greens and bean sprouts come up again and again, and several writers singled out the tofu salad.
- Expect a wait at weekend lunch. Only one post describes the building, calling it a single-storey house; none mentions a basement or upstairs seating.

What we do not know
- Three posts found the food unremarkable — fine, but not worth a long wait. One of them also found a foreign staff member curt; another post called the staff kind.
