Raw fish

Haeundae Dajji

해운대 다찌 Haeundae is Busan's beach district; dachi (다찌) is the Tongyeong drinking-house custom in which ordering drinks brings a long run of seafood dishes to the table.

Compiled from 7 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Tongyeong-style dachi seafood house in the lane behind Haeundae Beach, behind the old Grand Hotel. The 55,000-won-per-person course A starts with raw fish and shellfish, moves on to grilled mackerel, steamed scallops and a braise, and ends with spicy fish stew and abalone porridge. Drinks are not included. We read 7 posts from April to September 2026; all seven went and ate course A. One disclosed sponsorship, one said they paid themselves, and five said nothing.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. All seven posts said it was a lot of food. A party of five wrote there was no room left even for individual plates, as dishes came faster than the table could hold them; another called it a place for big eaters. One post said it is wasted on school-age children.
  2. Five posts booked ahead. One weekend-6pm visit found every table reserved and the room turning over after about an hour and a half; after 7:30 people who had been waiting came in. That is the only post that mentions a wait.

Parking

Posts saying you can park2 of 7 posts

Parking reports differ. The sponsored post praised valet parking. The self-paid post said the lot takes only one car per party and is unavailable on weekends and holidays, so use a public lot and walk. One writer parked in a nearby paid lot; another said parking depends on the day.

Getting inside

Second floor5 of 7 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 7 posts read)

Five posts describe a ground-floor hall with group seating upstairs; three of them call the second floor a group room. One September 2026 visitor was seated by a second-floor window among several tables of company dinners.

Three posts ate in the ground-floor hall; one said it felt slightly half-basement. Nobody said how many steps there are at the entrance.

We don't know about an entrance step, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift to the second floor. That doesn't mean they're missing; nobody wrote about them.

We don't know whether the toilet is inside or separated by gender; nobody mentioned it.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Accounts of the room differ. Three posts called it spacious, but the self-paid post found it smaller than expected, counting roughly eight or nine tables for four to six, and described it as hectic, with the kitchen right inside the door.
  • Only one post mentions transit, saying it is close to Dongbaek subway station; nobody gave walking time or buses. One post walked 5 to 10 minutes from a Haeundae hotel.
  • One post went with family and one with a spouse; none with friends. Several recommend it for group dinners, but no writer actually went as a large group.
  • Opening hours seem to have changed: three posts from April to June 2026 list 11:30 to 23:00 with a 14:00 to 16:00 break, three from September list 12:00 to 22:30 with a 14:00 to 17:00 break. All are copied listings and nobody gave a closing day. One September post lists a 12:00 opening but a lunch special from 11:30.
  • A meal is 55,000 won per person for course A plus drinks; two posts give soju at 6,000 won. The self-paid writer found the price a bit steep but not wasted.
  • Six posts give the phone number 051-742-6692. Nobody said how reservations are taken, by phone or by app.
  • Four posts end with an identical hashtag line, and only one of them discloses sponsorship; they may come from the same promotion. Claims such as all-domestic or wild-caught seafood were repeated from the staff, so we did not count them.
