Sangroksu Light roasting haus
상록수 라이트로스팅하우스 Sangroksu Laiteuroseuting Hauseu Sangroksu means an evergreen tree; 'light roasting house' names what it does, roasting beans light to keep their acidity.

A light-roast filter coffee bar on the fourth floor of an old brick building at 19 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, Namcheon-dong, Busan, looking out on the tail end of Gwangan Bridge and Namcheon harbour. You smell the beans on display and pick one; a cup runs from 8,000 won to 20,000 won for the Geisha. Signatures (Sanmi with rice cream, the raspberry Ilchul, and the espresso-plus-latte Sangroksu Jeongsik) are 8,000 won, alongside tiramisu and financiers. Three posts say it moved here from Haeundae, and everything we read was written after the move. We read 30 posts from 17 September to 8 October 2026; 26 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Before you order, they pour a small taste of the day's coffee. Twelve visit posts mention it; one names the bean as Cerro Negro, another tasted chestnut and nuts, another got a splash of Geisha. One visitor liked the taster, heard it was 20,000 won a cup, and switched beans.
- Eleven posts call the staff friendly, nearly always describing how they explain the beans. Staff brought ground beans and name cards to the table to smell before brewing, and found the least acidic option for someone who dislikes acidity. At the bar they will chat with you, which one solo visitor said felt perfectly comfortable.
- Five posts went by subway: about ten minutes on foot from exit 3 of Namcheon Station on Line 2 (they give 10, about 11, and about 10 minutes). From Gwangalli beach along the seafront it is roughly 25 minutes.
- Eleven posts discuss price and six call it expensive. Two separately note a 20,000-won Geisha, one saying it cost more than a meal. Another scores value at 2/5. One regular says they returned despite the price, and there are beans at 8,000-9,000 won.
2 more
- Six posts describe the room as spacious, one guessing 130-160 square metres. Seating is a U-shaped bar around the brew station, bridge-view window seats, and sofas and tables further in. Several note the dark walls: it is dim by the door and bright by the windows.
- Four posts call it quiet, good for reading and not echoey. It does fill up, though: three posts found the window seats already taken.

Parking

There is no building car park. Nine posts touch on parking; four confirm it from their own visit. The five who drove used the Namcheon Haebyeon Market public lot (1,000 won per 30 minutes, five minutes' walk) or a private lot (2,000 won an hour), and one notes there is no parking validation. The other 'no parking' lines are copied from map listings.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
Five posts went by subway: about ten minutes on foot from exit 3 of Namcheon Station on Line 2 (they give 10, about 11, and about 10 minutes). From Gwangalli beach along the seafront it is roughly 25 minutes.

The cafe is on the fourth floor; posts only mention the fourth floor and the lift. No one wrote about any basement or other-floor seating.
It is on the fourth floor, reached by lift; seven posts mention taking it. Several say to look for the small green sign by the bicycle shop at street level.
Nobody reported on steps at the entrance or arriving by wheelchair. One post guessed a pushchair would fit since there is a lift. That means unknown, not inaccessible.
Two posts disagree on the toilet: one says it is inside and separated by gender, the other says it is unisex. Both found it clean.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waits vary: one post queued around 3 pm on a weekend, one walked straight in on a weekday morning, and one arrived at 2 pm on a weekend just before a queue formed. Another only got a seat after ordering. Nobody recorded how many minutes they waited.
- Sangroksu moved here from Haeundae. Three posts say so, one of them visiting the new shop as early as July 2026. We read no posts from the old Haeundae shop, so every price, seat and hour here is from the current location.
- Thirteen posts give the same hours: daily 9 am to 7 pm, last order 6:30 pm, and one adds no closing day. Most copied these from map listings rather than checking. One visitor was turned away once after going without checking the hours.
- Seven posts list the same phone number, 0507-1314-3952. None says whether reservations or phone bookings are possible.
- Several posts mention the owner's competition awards, citing a 2024 Comandante Korea title they were told about and trophies and a 2026 Daegu finalist display on the wall. These are hearsay or the shop's own display, so we did not count them.
- Two posts describe Ilchul in identical words that appear to come from the shop's menu card, so we did not rely on them; one of the two is a three-cafe roundup and is not counted as a visit.
