Sukseongdo Gwangalli-jeom
숙성도 광안리점 Sukseong means aging, as in matured meat — this Jeju-born pork chain ages its cuts and keeps the aging cabinets on display in the dining room.

An aged-pork grill house facing Gwangalli Beach at 289 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, the Busan branch of the Jeju-born Sukseongdo chain. Order pork belly (15,000 won for 130 g), bone-in collar (37,000 won) or bone-in loin (39,000 won for 350 g) and a server grills it all for you; a kimchi stew comes free. We read 21 posts dated 2 August to 28 September 2026; 19 record an actual meal (one was a list of restaurants and one was about the Jungmun branch on Jeju, so we set them aside).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You don't grill your own meat: thirteen posts say a server cooked it, and several describe the server building the first bite for you — dipped in anchovy sauce and topped with bracken, pollock roe, wasabi or pickles. Both posts written by parents said not having to grill made it easier to look after the child.
- Ten posts say a kimchi stew comes with the meat at no charge; several mention how much pork is in it, one calls it a typical sweetish restaurant stew, and one group ordered an extra not knowing. Four posts say you can top up side dishes at a self-serve bar; one notes that more pollock roe costs extra.
- Expect to wait in the evening and at weekends. Six posts say they queued: 13 parties ahead at a weekend, more than 10 parties, only 6 parties but 'a really long wait', and a line of 3 at 5 p.m. on a Saturday that had grown past 10 by 6:30. One couple who booked walked straight in while others had been waiting over an hour. The one post that arrived at the 11:30 weekend opening found no queue. Four posts booked through CatchTable; three mention waiting seats, one of them outdoors in full sun.

Parking
3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

There are only a few spaces out front: four posts describing their own visit put it at three or four cars, and one quipped that there is a car park that isn't really one. One post got a front space by arriving at opening; another parked at the Millak Raw Fish Center public lot and got one hour validated. The list of five partner lots with an hour free is copied from the shop's listing in three posts, and one post says two hours at Millak, so check the current validation.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 3 of 16 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 16 posts read) |
The building has several floors: two posts describe seating on floors one to three, one was seated on the second floor, and one found the ground-floor hall packed. One post mentions a high ceiling and three say the place is spacious, though one adds there aren't many tables for the size.
Posts mention a ground-floor hall and seating on the second and third floors; none mention a basement. Which floor you get seems to depend on availability.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance, whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in, or whether there is a lift — none of the posts said, even though the building has several floors.
We don't know where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender; no Gwangalli post mentioned them.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 17 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Two posts call it not cheap. No post gave a total bill for a meal; the prices above are copied from the menu in August–September 2026 posts.
- Nine posts list the hours as 11:30 a.m.–11 p.m. daily, break 3–4:30 p.m., last order 10:10 p.m., but all copied them from the listing; one post says there is no weekend break, so that point is unsettled. Five posts give the phone number 0507-1339-3699, and four booked through CatchTable.
- One post recalls the shop being in a two-storey building near the beach on an earlier visit and guesses it has since built its own; no other post tells us whether it rebuilt on the same site or moved. One post records a visit in May 2025, so it was open before then.
- No post describes actually arriving by public transport; the 15–20-minute walk from Gwangan Station appears only in two copied info blocks. Three posts mention driving.
- Some posts appear to follow a template: two share word-for-word text about waiting and entry, and two others follow the same sequence with no dish names or prices. We did not count the copied waiting text.
