Sineok Sutbul Galbi
신억숯불갈비 Sutbul galbi means charcoal-grilled ribs; the posts never explain what Sineok means.
Compiled from 22 blog posts read in fullSources →
A marinated pork rib house on the ground floor at Gwanganhaebyeon-ro 358beon-gil 7 in Millak-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, near Millak Waterside Park. Several posts say it was opened by the owner of the tonkatsu shop Tonshou, on the spot where Saengsaeng Dwaeji Maeuntang used to be. The only meat is marinated pork, domestic neck and back rib served together, at 14,500 won per 200g (the menu in a 20 June post said 13,000). It comes charcoal-seared from the kitchen, and in posts from late July on, staff grill the first round at your table. Afterwards people add pork maeuntang (9,000 won), soybean stew, perilla-oil noodles or arrowroot cold noodles. We read 24 posts dated 12 June to 7 October 2026; 22 of them describe an actual visit. The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- The meat arrives pre-seared. Nineteen posts said so. One described it being done in something like a yakitori grill booth, by someone behind glass; three said you can watch the kitchen searing it. One post said it comes about two-thirds cooked and is finished on your charcoal.
- Staff grill the first round for you, and you take over after that; fifteen posts say so. This changed over time: posts from 25 June and 7 July describe grilling it themselves, and an 4 August post says the shop used to be self-grill and the price went up when table grilling was introduced. Two posts mention politely declining and grilling themselves.
- Expect to wait at dinner and on weekends. Nine posts waited, three did not. The waits given are 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 40 minutes (seven groups ahead), 40 minutes (Chuseok holiday) and an hour (ten groups, weekend). You sign up on the CatchTable machine at the door; three posts say staff phoned during the wait to ask how many portions they wanted, so the meat came soon after they sat down. Four posts mention seats or a space for waiting.
- Four posts note that extra portions also go through the searing step and take a while, so they advise ordering before you run out. One post, having pre-ordered by phone, got the meat three minutes after the side dishes.
3 more
- No post called it expensive; eight called the price fair or reasonable. Two posts that copied their receipts show two people paying 72,000 and 66,000 won for four portions of ribs (58,000 won) plus sides. One post paid with Dongbaekjeon local currency and got about 6,000 won off.
- Six posts asked for side-dish refills. Cucumber and celery with pollock-roe mayo, young radish kimchi, spicy pollock salad and a cabbage salad topped with cornflakes recur across posts. One notes there are no wrap greens, only dressed lettuce.
- Four posts went with family, all four with children, and six with friends. Seven posts called the room spacious, and some noted many family groups.

Parking
6 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Six posts said there is no dedicated parking; people used the SuByeon Park or SuByeon Children's Park public lots, and two posts drove there. Parking validation appears only in copied info blocks, so we did not count it.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 22 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Step-free access | 1 of 22 posts |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 22 posts |
Only one post covered the entrance: on 7 July a family went in with a stroller and said the ground-floor entrance meant no stairs. No post mentions a step or wheelchair access specifically; that means nobody wrote about it, not that there is a problem.
One post said from experience that the toilet is inside the restaurant. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied info blocks, so we did not count that.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 23 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Whether the marinade is sweet is split: seven posts said not overly sweet, three called it sweet, and one said not sweet but pleasantly sweetish. Some found the side dishes sweet.
- Portion size splits one to one: one post found three portions larger than elsewhere, another felt two portions looked like one and a half.
- Smoke is disputed too: posts from 25 June and 6 October found the room smoky (fine once the hood is pulled all the way down), while others said there was little smoke or that ventilation was good.
- Two posts noted it is some distance from the subway. No post describes arriving by bus or subway; the bus stop name appears only as copied directions.
- Opening hours: eight of ten posts from late July on give weekdays 16:30-22:00 and weekends 11:30-22:00, last order 21:00; two give an 11:00 weekend start and one a 16:40 weekday start. The four posts up to 7 July said daily from 16:30. Most of this is copied from info blocks, and no post mentions a closing day.
- On reservations, one post booked a table for six ahead of time and two saw reserved tables. One post suggests phoning the shop to confirm; the number is 051-751-9298.
- Some posts read like advertising. We did not count the 12 June post, which gives no prices or times and is hashtagged for Uijeongbu. The 5 July post is promotional in tone and the 7 July post follows an FAQ template; from those two we counted only what the writers said they experienced.
