Samsam Hoetjip
삼삼횟집 Hoetjip means a raw-fish restaurant; samsam reads as 'three-three' and is also a Korean word for a light, pleasantly mild seasoning — the posts do not say which the owners meant.

Samsam Hoetjip sells sashimi by head count on the second and third floors of its own building in an alley behind the Millak raw-fish centre in Suyeong-gu, Busan. A portion is 30,000 won and you don't pick the fish: three kinds of the day come on two plates — flatfish, sea bass and parboiled-skin red sea bream turn up most, with mullet, flounder, gizzard shad or rockfish on other days. Most diners add a plate of sushi rice (5,000 won, half plate 3,000) to make their own nigiri, then finish with clear or spicy fish soup (10,000 small, 12,000 large). The side dishes are kept to a cabbage salad dressed in chili-vinegar sauce, lettuce and kimchi. We read 29 posts dated 7 March to 8 October 2026: 20 record a meal here and 5 are list posts. We set aside three posts about other shops with the same name (a basement shop in the Millak shellfish market and a branch in Haeundae) and one about a different restaurant.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Fourteen posts said the slices are thick, often adding that the plate looks modest until you start eating — one called the thickness 'brutal'.
- Ten posts said the portion looked small at first but turned out generous — the second plate arrives a little later, and one diner found it more than a large mixed platter elsewhere. One post was unsure, saying the amount seemed a bit small.
- You can't bring your own alcohol: two posts state it outright and a third reports being told so.
- Four posts describe the stairwell up to the dining room lined with celebrity autographs. The 'since 1983' history is the shop's own claim, repeated by bloggers.

Parking
8 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 8 of 20 posts |

Eight posts parked in the ground-floor car park under the building. Estimates of its size differ — 'about 10 cars' versus 'six to eight' — and posts warn it is a tight pillar-supported space where you may end up double-parked. One diner didn't know about it and used the paid lot next door. The two hours of free public parking appears only as a copied notice or hearsay, so we don't rely on it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 6 of 20 posts |
|---|
Six posts said the dining rooms are on the second and third floors above the car park. One moved up to the third floor because the second was crowded and loud; another found a private room at the back of the third floor.
This shop is not in a basement — but a same-name shop also called the 'main branch' operates in the basement of the Millak shellfish market (posted at 28,000 won a head), and there's another branch in Haeundae. Bloggers call more than one of them the 'main branch', so check you're heading to Gwangan-haebyeon-ro 278beon-gil 22.
We don't know about wheelchair or stroller access. Posts describe climbing stairs beside the car park to the second floor; none mentions a lift or the entrance step. That doesn't mean there is no lift — no one wrote about it.
We don't know where the toilets are or whether they are separate. One post's info list says they are inside, but it reads as copied data, so we didn't count it.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post reports queuing. Two said they walked straight in — one arrived at 5:30 pm and watched the place fill up after 6. Another found it nearly full on a weekday lunchtime. We don't know whether there is a wait on weekend evenings.
- No post names the nearest station or stop. One diner took a bus to Gwangalli to escape the humidity; the others walked over from the beach or drove.
- Thirteen of the posts from diners give the same opening hours, noon to 10 pm daily, and two add that it never closes. But all of these are copied info blocks, and no post mentions a break time or last order.
- The price stayed at 30,000 won a head from March to October; two people adding sushi rice and a soup spend a little over 70,000 won. Four posts found it fair, one felt it was slightly steep for the amount, and one couldn't decide. One post alone said the 30,000 won includes sushi rice and stew; everyone else ordered those separately.
- Many posts list the phone number 051-753-7333. Two booked ahead: a large family group found tables already set for their party, and another got a window seat.
- Two posts found the staff friendly; one longtime customer recalled being unhappy that they weren't friendly and charged extra for sushi rice.
