MOUVETT
무벳 Mubet One post says the owner explained Mouvett as French for stirring with a ladle, that is, cooking; we could not confirm it as a French word.

Mouvett is a small French-leaning dining bar on the ground floor of the Seohui Star Hills arcade near Gwangalli Beach. One chef cooks behind the bar; the Peruvian-style pork tenderloin (34,000 won) appears in eight posts, and the pre-booked Wellington course was 80,000 won a head in 2026. Drinking is part of the deal: you order wine by the glass or bring a bottle and pay 20,000 won corkage. We read 12 posts written between 30 November 2024 and 21 September 2026, and all 12 describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Seven posts say the chef or server explained each dish and the wines well. One describes an explanation with every plate, one had raw scallops torched on request, and one was offered extra sauce unprompted. A single walk-in post said the explanations were thin.
- Five posts brought their own wine, but corkage is not free: four of them give 20,000 won a bottle, with a one-bottle limit in January 2025 and two bottles by March 2026. One September 2026 post also brought an anniversary cake after asking ahead.
- From the bar you watch the chef cook; three posts say so, one watching him roll fresh pasta. It is not bar-only: three posts describe both bar seats and hall tables, including a four-top.
- Pace is mixed. Two posts found it slow (a one-chef kitchen; a walk-in without booking), one had dishes arrive quickly because they were the only table, and one felt the course followed the kitchen's rhythm rather than the diners'.
3 more
- A drink order is required: three posts say so, and a January 2025 post specifies one glass per person or one bottle per table. A March 2026 post adds there is no soju or beer, but a highball (13,000 won) and a non-alcoholic lemonade (7,000 won).
- Four posts booked ahead, and one notes you can pick hall or bar seating on Catchtable. The Wellington needs booking a day in advance, per two posts. One July 2026 diner walked in unbooked and still got a seat.
- Three posts came with a boyfriend for an anniversary or Christmas, and one with a wife. Three describe the room as small, and four as quiet.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 12 posts read) |

| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 2 (of 12 posts read) |
It is at street level, not a basement: one post describes walking a little from the beach to the arcade's ground floor. Two posts warn the entrance is hard to find, around the corner past Compose Coffee, next to a laundromat.
No one mentions a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits; that means we don't know, not that there is a problem. A March 2026 post notes only a side door off the corridor was open, not the front door.
There is no restroom inside; two posts say you use the arcade's shared toilets, and one advises bringing tissue. Separate men's and women's rooms appear only in one post's copied info box.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- No one describes getting there by subway or bus.
- No post mentions queuing; nobody wrote about waiting for a table, and the one walk-in simply found a seat.
- All opening hours are copied and they keep changing: 17:30-24:00 closed Mondays in three posts from December 2024 to January 2025; 17:00-24:00 closed Mondays in March 2025; lunch 12:00-15:00 and dinner 17:00-01:00 in July 2025; 18:00-02:00 closed Thursdays in March 2026; 11:00-22:00 closed Thursdays in June 2026; 17:00-21:00 closed Wednesdays and Thursdays in September 2026. The day off clearly moved from Monday to Thursday; check current hours before going.
- Prices have risen: the Wellington course went from 70,000 won a head in late 2024 to 80,000 won in 2026, the carbonara from 23,000 to 25,000 won, the tartare from 21,000 to 23,000 won. Only one post gives a bill: 84,000 won for two in autumn 2024 (pasta, steak, two drinks, dessert). One post calls the place pricey.
- The phone number was 010-5820-2895 up to March 2025 and 0507-1365-9976 from July 2025. Several posts copy that bookings go through Catchtable or Naver, and a September 2026 post was told dining is now by Naver reservation only.
- Posts disagree on what the 'Hanwoo Wellington' main actually is: a June 2026 post describes pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon, one September 2026 post calls it a pork Wellington course, and another from the same month says Korean beef. Worth confirming when booking.
- Several posts repeat that the chef trained at Miraflores, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Lyon; that is copied from the shop's own profile, so we did not count it. The 19-and-over entry rule likewise appears only in one post's copied info box.
