Mansur Pocha

만수르포차 Pocha is short for pojangmacha, a casual Korean drinking house; Mansur is a name, and none of the posts say why the owner chose it.

Compiled from 9 blog posts read in fullSources →

An indoor pocha (casual drinking house) on the ground floor of the Seohee Star Hills Centum Primo arcade, on the stretch from Gwangalli Beach toward Millak Waterside Park. People come for stew-style dishes like braised spicy chicken (27,000 won) and Spam army stew (25,000 won), plus a banga-leaf pancake (8,000 won) and the house-named Mansur pizza (19,000 won), with soju and beer. We read 10 posts from November 2024 to June 2026; one was about a neighbouring shop in the same building and was set aside, and the other nine all describe actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The free side dishes look more like a home-style restaurant than a bar. Eight posts describe them: egg-battered pink sausage, stir-fried anchovies, potato salad and cucumber come up again and again. One post says the anchovies are worth refilling several times, and another says that when the anchovies had run out, the owner fried a fresh batch once the room emptied and packed some for them to take home.
  2. Five of the nine visit posts ordered the banga (Korean mint) pancake, and four of them called it crisp, thin and crackly at the edges. One lists the filling as banga, onion and hot green chilli, and two posts say it is the reason they come, since few places sell it.
  3. Five posts describe the seating. Three put it at seven tables (one specifies about seven four-person tables), one at roughly five or six, and one simply says there are plenty. One post says outdoor tables go out on nice days, and one recommends it to people looking for a quiet spot.
  4. Four posts come from repeat visitors, one calling it a place they keep going back to and another mentioning the dried pollock they order every time. Two of those four are by the same blogger.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 9 posts read)

Three posts place it on the ground floor of the arcade, but nobody mentions whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that it's impossible.

The only mention of a toilet is a copied info block in one post saying customers use the arcade's shared, gender-separated restroom. Nobody describes using it, so we don't know whether there's one inside the shop.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Posts disagree on how spicy the stews are: two describe a hot, peppery broth, while one says the braised chicken is only mildly hot rather than aggressively spicy. That's two to one.
  • No one explains how to get there by subway or bus. Posts only say it's a little away from the main strip, a short walk from central Gwangalli, and next to the Sealand raw-fish centre and Namcheonjip.
  • No post describes waiting here. One says they found it late on a weekday after wandering past closed shops. A diary post mentions that everywhere had queues, but we read that as describing the neighbourhood that night, not a line at this place.
  • Six posts all give the hours as 17:00 to 02:00, closed Sundays, but every one of them is a copied info block. No one mentions a last-order time.
  • The fullest price list is a menu copied in May 2025 (Mansur pizza 19,000 won, LA galbi 40,000 won). A May 2026 post lists the pizza at about 20,000 won, but that came from a Naver screenshot with a note that some prices have changed, so we can't confirm a rise. On the overall cost of a meal, one post calls the prices easy on the wallet.
  • Six posts give the same phone number, 010-3321-6347. Reservations and takeout appear only in one copied info block, and no one says they booked ahead.
  • Two of the nine posts (May 2026) are by one blogger, with the same intro template and the same eight hashtags. They ordered different dishes, so we counted both. A June 2026 post reads like promotion but records three dishes and how they tasted, so we counted it too.
