Grill houseKorean

Gohasun Gwangan Jigyeongjeom

고하순 광안직영점 Gohasun is a contraction of 'gogiro hana doeneun sungan' — the moment you become one with the meat; this is the company-run Gwangalli branch.

Compiled from 21 blog posts read in fullSources →

An aged-pork grill house on the second and third floors of a red-brick building at the end of Gwangalli beach in Millak-dong, Busan. Aged neck and belly are 14,000 won per 130 g, staff grill everything at the table, and pickled white kimchi and anchovy sauce go on the grill alongside. Seven posts say ordering meat at lunch (11:30–15:00) brings free doenjang stew and rice. We read 30 posts from March to October 2026; 22 of them, from late June to early October, describe actually eating here. The March post was about the trotter restaurant on the ground floor.

Rows without a count: 8 of 15 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. 18 of the 22 visit posts say staff do all the grilling. They suggest the first piece with salt only; some posts describe resting the meat mid-grill or standing thick cuts on edge to cook the sides. One regular wrote that it tastes best when the owner grills. One post noted the thick cuts take a while to cook.
  2. Eight posts waited or saw a queue; one did not. Recorded queues: two parties ahead (seven or eight at weekday peaks, the writer was told) and one party at 7 pm on a weekday; one post queued via CatchTable on a weekend evening, another found it full in the summer holidays. A Sunday visit between 4 and 5 pm had no wait. Four posts advise booking, and one waited on chairs set along the stairs up to the second floor.
  3. The second floor is indoors with a wall of windows; the third has terrace seating open to the sky. Nine posts mention the second floor and seven the third-floor terrace. One post that ate upstairs described the open ceiling; another moved indoors to escape the sun and found the ventilation so poor that smoke stung their eyes.
  4. Ten posts called it clean, pointing to the wood-toned interior, plants, floors without the usual barbecue grease, and the aging fridge at the entrance. Two posts noted storage for bags under the seats.

Parking

4 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park4 of 21 posts

All four posts that drove used the public lot right next door and said the restaurant knocks 2,000 won off; one paid about 5,000 won for just over an hour, another saw the 2,000 won taken off the final bill. One found the public lot full, parked nearby, and still got the discount. Other posts' parking details are copied from listing blocks.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 21 posts read)
Lift to the flooryes 0 · no 1 (of 21 posts read)
Step-free accessyes 0 · no 1 (of 21 posts read)

The restaurant is up a flight of stairs on the second floor. One post noted no lift and fairly steep stairs; another strongly advised against bringing a stroller. No post mentioned an entrance step or ramp.

We don't know whether the toilet is inside or separated by gender; one post only mentions passing the third floor on the way. Nobody wrote about it — that is not the same as there being none.

No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions split on the food. Four posts are return visits or regulars; two found it ordinary — one called the meat just average and said they would not return, another said it was nothing very special. A third said it was exactly what they expected.
  • No post describes arriving by subway or bus. The '15 minutes from Gwangan Station exit 3' line comes from a listing that copied the place page.
  • Four posts came with children and one noted high chairs; two said staff grilling made minding a child easier. The same posts warn the stairs rule out strollers.
  • Opening hours: eight posts give Sunday–Thursday 11:30–23:00 and Friday–Saturday 11:30–24:00; five give only daily 11:30–23:00. One post says opening is 12:00, another 11:00. One mentions no afternoon break, and none gives a closing day. Many are copied from listing blocks, so check before going.
  • Prices were consistent: 14,000 won per 130 g of neck or belly. No post gave a total for a meal. One found three portions smaller than expected; another found the stew generous for the price.
  • Six posts give the same phone number, 051-910-9243. Posts mention booking through Naver and joining the queue through CatchTable.
  • Pets are unclear: one post put this place first on a dog-friendly list, while another's info block says no pets. Ask ahead.
  • Of the 22 visit posts, three disclose sponsorship, one is an invited review, seven say they paid themselves, and eleven say nothing. Two posts from 5 October share a sentence word for word, suggesting a common brief. The '480-hour' and '300-hour' aging figures are the restaurant's own claims, copied by bloggers, and we don't rely on them.
