Kyuno
큐노 Kyuno Kyuno reads as Japanese kyū-no, 'of nine' — the shop styles its name as 9's.

Kyuno is a small izakaya on a side street off Dalmaji-gil in Haeundae. Most seats are at a counter facing the kitchen, with one or two tables, and it opens from 6 pm to 2 am. People come for plates like the sashimi moriawase (29,000 won), futomaki (27,000 won) and fried eggplant in tomato sauce (13,000 won) alongside drinks. We read 17 posts from December 2024 to September 2026; 13 of them describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- It is mostly counter seating, but not entirely: all 7 posts that describe the room mention a separate table or two — 'seven or eight counter seats and one small table', 'tables for three or more, counter for two'. Pairs seem to go to the counter, larger groups to a table.
- 4 posts note the kitchen is right in front of the counter — you can watch the owner cook and chat with him.
- A small starter arrives before you order. 7 posts mention it, and they describe the same thing: a couple of slices of fish with pickled cucumber, dressed in yuzu or sesame sauce. One post found the cucumber a little salty.
- Instead of plain water you get tea; 2 posts mention it, both unsure what kind but liking it.
3 more
- You can bring your own bottle, but there is a corkage fee. 3 posts brought wine or sake; one lists 20,000 won per bottle of wine or sake and 30,000 won for whisky and spirits. Two of the three are by the same couple about the same evening.
- Repeat visits are common: 4 posts are return trips, including one writer who came back after a year on a business trip for the futomaki and a local who calls it the izakaya they settled on after a year of trying the neighbourhood.
- 2 posts call it expensive: one says the food is priced like other izakaya but drinks are clearly dear (soju 8,000 won); another notes the negitoro maki works out to about 7,000 won a piece and their food alone topped 100,000 won. Another post lists a 97,000 won bill for sashimi, crab ramyeon and four highballs.

Parking
1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

There is no dedicated lot. Of the 2 posts that drove, one parked in front of the shop after asking permission, the other on the side of the lane. A line saying 'one car in front' appears only in copied info blocks, so we don't rely on it.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
We don't know which floor it is on. The registered address says basement unit 101 while blog check-ins say ground-floor shop, and no one described going down stairs or walking in at street level.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits — not that there isn't access, just that no one wrote about it. One post warns the approach is quite steep.
We don't know whether the toilet is inside the shop. One post's info block says it is not gender-separated, but that line is copied, so we didn't count it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 16 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes getting there by subway or bus. Two (by the same couple) took a taxi, and one writer says they missed the last train home staying for dinner.
- No one reports queuing. 2 posts (the same couple) booked through CatchTable on the day itself, Christmas Eve, and waited only a minute while the table was set. With so few seats, we don't know what a busy night looks like.
- Opening hours: all 5 visit posts that give them agree on 6 pm to 2 am, closed Sundays. Last order at 1 am appears in only 2 posts, both in copied info blocks.
- The phone number 051-704-7004 appears in 2 posts, both in info blocks; visitors who booked did so through CatchTable.
- The menu shifts a little over time: an April 2026 post found new dishes after a year away, including a dashi omelette (10,000 won), and another notes a seasonal plate that switches between fig and strawberry. Prices match between June 2025 and September 2026.
- We set aside 3 of the 17 posts: two are promotional write-ups built from listing data (one by a nearby rental), and one is a trip itinerary that only says they stopped in for a drink. One more, an Airbnb review that merely links to Kyuno, was removed entirely.
