Seogam Saengsogeumgui Gwangalli-jeom
석암생소금구이 광안리점 Seogam means a stone or rock, and saeng-sogeum-gui means fresh (never-frozen) pork grilled with salt; the name matches the house's huge cast-iron grill pans shaped like a slab of rock.

A chain pork-grill house on the second floor of Gwanganhaebyeon-ro 175, right on Gwangalli Beach, above the Gatten Sushi on the ground floor. You grill fresh pork belly, jowl and loin cap on a huge cast-iron pan shaped like a rock; the signature 400 g platter was 38,000 won in 2026. When the meat is gone, staff fry rice (5,500 won) or Chapagetti noodles (6,500 won) on the same pan, and soft ice cream by the counter is free on the way out. Nearly every post mentions the head-on view of Gwangan Bridge from the windows. We read 28 posts dated 24 July to 8 October 2026. Ten were about other branches (Nampo, Seomyeon, Cheolsan) or other restaurants and were dropped, two were multi-restaurant lists, and 16 describe an actual visit. Five say they paid their own way; none disclose sponsorship.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You grill the meat yourself. Six posts say staff check the pan, lay the kimchi, meat and potatoes on it in one go, and leave the rest to you; one or two had the first round grilled while staff explained how to eat it. Fried rice and noodles, on the other hand, are cooked on the pan by staff.
- The eight posts that mention waiting split. Two waited: five minutes on a Sunday evening, and a weekend 7 pm visit queued remotely on CatchTable that stayed full until they left. Five walked straight in, all at off-peak times — after 9 pm on a Friday, before 6 pm on a holiday, around 3 pm on a weekend, straight after work — including one who took the last window seat on a Friday evening. One more got in after 9 pm but called the place always busy, so we did not count it either way.
- Ten visit posts call it spacious — wide gaps between tables, no noise from the next table, room for a group dinner. Three noticed more foreign diners than Koreans, and one had a foreign staff member who struggled with a request to put only half the cheese on the fried rice.

It is upstairs, and the lift does not stop there. Eight visit posts put it on the second floor. Two said the elevator and fire stairs cannot reach it and you must take the big staircase to the right of the building entrance; one of them carried a sleeping baby up in the stroller. Another got lost among the building's several routes, and a regular said she still uses the back door because she never found the front.
No one went in by wheelchair. With one post carrying a stroller up the stairs and two saying the lift skips the second floor, we do not know of any step-free route, and nobody mentioned the threshold.
No post says whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or separated by gender. That means unknown, not absent.
No one mentioned: Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Lettuce wraps are disputed: four posts say they are not served by default and must be requested or ordered on the kiosk, while one lists them on the table. On the meat, one post found it lacked bounce and another called it so-so, against the others who liked it.
- One post thought seating was capped at about two hours; another said there was no limit because nobody was waiting. Whether a limit applies at busy times is unclear.
- No post describes walking from a subway station or bus stop; they only say it is easy to spot on the main beachfront strip.
- Only three posts make clear they came with friends or acquaintances. Some call it a good date spot, but posts that say they came as a couple or with family do not add up. One brought small children; another felt the splattering noodles make it risky for kids.
- Ten visit posts give opening hours, all but one copied from listings: six say Mon–Sat 16:00–02:00 and Sunday 13:00–02:00, three say daily 16:00–02:00, one says daily 11:30–01:00, and five give last orders at 01:00. One post walked in around 3 pm on a weekend and another had a late lunch on Chuseok, so weekend and holiday opening times are uncertain.
- Five posts list the phone number 051-755-1138, but none say they called. One was told reservations are only for groups of seven or more; the rest mention CatchTable remote queuing.
- All prices come from posts dated July to October 2026. Two people having the platter plus fried rice or noodles land in the mid-40,000s won, more with drinks. A single portion of belly or jowl is 180 g on one menu photo and 160 g in a list, and one post says every meat except the platter has a two-portion minimum.
