이가네명인갈비살 사상점 A charcoal beef short-rib house by Sasang station in Busan, where one portion at one price comes plain or fruit-marinated, with a stew and sushi rice thrown in
Compiled from 28 blog posts read in fullSources →
Leeganae Myeongin Galbisal's Sasang branch is three to five minutes' walk from exit 6 at Sasang station, inside the drinking lane there, grilling beef short rib over hardwood charcoal. The menu barely branches: one portion of short rib, in plain, fruit-marinated or soy-marinated, with a crab doenjang stew, cold noodles and a packet ramyeon beside it. A sign says the beef is American black angus, and that the fruit marinade is ground fresh and tossed through to order. Order the beef and a doenjang stew and a bowl of sushi rice arrive with it, at no charge. Four in the afternoon until two in the morning, Monday to Saturday; on Sundays the posts do not agree. There is no car park. The posts we read run from May 2025 to September 2026.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart
- This is a branch of a chain. Four writers say so — that the name is turning up all over Busan now, that they had eaten at another branch first. It is the first thing to be careful of here: of the thirty posts we collected under this shop's name, two turned out to be other branches — one in Changwon, one in Gimhae, both month-long diaries carrying twenty-odd check-ins each. The line "the best short rib I've eaten this year" was written in Changwon. Praise you find online under this name may not be about this room. Check the address: 79 Gwangjang-ro 81beon-gil.
- The price does not move. ₩32,900 for a portion of short rib appears in sixteen posts at the same figure, from May 2025 to August 2026 — fifteen months without a wobble. Twenty-four of the twenty-eight call it cheap: cheaper than going out for pork, one says; pork-belly money for as much beef as you can hold, says another. Five went in suspecting the beef because of the price and write that they were wrong — and those five are the most trustworthy lines here, because they arrived expecting little. Note that ₩32,900 buys a portion, not a person (500g; five writers found it right for two). Thin pork belly is ₩29,000, four thousand less — and not one of the twenty-eight ordered it.
- Order the beef and a doenjang stew and a bowl of sushi rice come with it, free. Twenty-five posts describe them, and eight are frankly startled to be given a stew for nothing at a grill house. Six find it thick with tofu and courgette. The rice is for laying a piece of grilled beef on, a do-it-yourself nigiri; two writers were surprised by rice they had not ordered, and three note you can have more — two confess to a second bowl. Between the two, four writers observe that ordering only meat still gets you a full meal. The side dishes run to dressed spring onion, white kimchi, pickled radish and onion, and leaves; among the many sauces, seven single out the garlic-soy one on its own account.
- Six posts raise the question of a gamey smell, and all six say there isn't one. Short rib is a cut that turns easily, and the phrasing is consistent: not a trace; clean and nutty through the charcoal; the plain tasting of beef and the marinated of marinade. The line that carries the most weight comes from a writer who brought her mother: her mother is acutely sensitive to the smell of beef, she writes, and pronounced this lot clean. The reasons offered are the American black angus and the hardwood charcoal (one writer names the grade of it). But those are the shop's own wall text, not something we have checked — ten posts copy that wall out.

- This is a place to come to without a car, and thirteen writers say so. Seven give the walk from exit 6 at Sasang station as three to five minutes (one measures it at 227 metres), and one names the bus stop. Two note that the western intercity coach terminal is close enough to make this a stop on a journey. Two arrived that way themselves — one took the subway and found it easier than driving would have been, and recommends everyone do the same; another simply walked there, hungry, after work. Two recommend public transport precisely because the restaurant has no parking. Four say that although it is down a lane, the sign is large enough to find.
- Six writers are given iced water, or a cup of ice, the moment they sit. It is the summer visitors who dwell on it — one calls it the owner reading the weather; another had been sweltering and got cold water before anything else. Two single out the ice cup: one had never been handed one free at a grill house, and found that pouring a drink over it cut through the fat mid-meal. Two more note the drinks arriving in a bucket of ice.

There is no car park, and only one writer describes actually parking. Ten-odd posts carry "no parking" in a header block, but those lines are copied from the shop's map listing and we have not counted them. The one who parked names two lots with their addresses — one a minute's walk, one two — and adds that having them that close made the place easy to get to after all. Four more point at the public lot by the church, but all four are giving directions, not describing a car. Whether the restaurant validates parking, and what it costs, nobody says.

Where it is

Getting inside

Nobody writes about floors. The registered address gives the ground floor and all twenty-eight copy that line, but not one describes stairs, an upstairs, or a basement. What recurs instead is depth: the room looked small from the door until she found more of it behind; the space runs back so far you cannot see the end of it; the entrance is modest and then it opens out. It reads as a place that is wide at the back rather than tall — though we have not confirmed that it is a single floor.
In twenty-eight posts there is no threshold, no ramp, no wheelchair. Here not even the copied listing blocks carry an accessibility line, so there was not even hearsay to discount. This is what we know: you go in at ground level; four writers note that the entrance looks narrow but the room runs a long way back; four describe the seating as round tables and chairs rather than floor seating (one mentions steel tables, black chairs, and a sofa bay along one side); and ten say the tables are set well apart. Whether there is a step at the door, we do not know — ring 051-311-9369 if it matters.
Three writers looked at the toilets. One notes that although she did not use them, men's and women's were separate and inside the restaurant — a thing she says she always ends up caring about. Another places them at the very back, past the drinks fridge. The third did use them and calls them clean, roomy and tidy, but does not say where they are. So: at the back, and separate is as far as we can go. How many stalls, which door, whether there are stairs — nobody says.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Twenty-eight posts sing more or less in unison, and we cannot fully account for it. Only one declares a sponsorship and two state plainly that they paid — but seven end with the identical bundle of search terms, character for character, the sort of tail a commissioned post carries. We did not drop them: all seven name what they ordered and what it cost, and their bodies differ (one worked through a half portion plain, one stirred rice into the crab stew, one ordered the packet noodles). What we count is the record of eating, not the hashtags. Still, those seven are part of why the chorus is so even, and you should read it knowing that. There are only two cool notes in the whole set: one writer found the white kimchi under-seasoned, and one shrugged at the cold noodles.
- Only one writer queued, and she pins down the hour: quiet when she walked in, every table taken and a queue forming by seven or eight. The two who walked straight in say the same thing inverted — lucky, one calls it; ten minutes later and we'd have waited, says the other. Six describe a full room, all of them people who arrived early and watched it fill (one was the first customer on a Wednesday and saw it packed out soon after). One writer advises booking at weekends — she had booked, and returned on a Saturday to find it full. Two mention chairs outside for waiting. Whether there is a ticket or an app, nobody says.
- They stamp a card, though the posts differ on what it buys. Three mention it. One sets it out fully — a stamp a visit, three for a bottle of soju or beer, five for a plate of yukhoe; another gives only the five-stamp plate; a third just says she likes collecting them. It reads as incomplete rather than contradictory, but we have not confirmed it. Separately, one writer notes that showing a receipt review earns a soft drink. Cheap soju has been running both years — ₩2,000 at the opening in May 2025, ₩3,000 for the first anniversary in May 2026, which between them place the opening around May 2025.
