Compiled from 26 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Korean-beef tasting-course restaurant on Bujeon-ro 65beon-gil, behind Lotte Department Store in Seomyeon, Busan. You sit at a counter with your own charcoal brazier while staff grill each cut for you. Nearly everyone had Course A (79,000 won per person): beef sashimi, tongue, five cuts, marinated oxtail, sukiyaki, pot rice with aged-kimchi stew, and an Excellent ice cream. Course B is 59,000 won. Up to February 2026, beef intestine came where the sukiyaki now does. We read 30 posts from July 2025 to October 2026. 27 were visits to this branch; we set aside two about the Haeundae branch and one about another restaurant.

Rows without a count: 18 of 22 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Staff do all the grilling: 23 of the 24 posts that described ordering said so. Leaner cuts come first, and the next cut goes on as you finish the last. One writer asked them to slow down and they did; another said she can't eat it too rare and they adjusted. For each cut they suggest salt, a wasabi mixed with myeongi greens, a perilla-leaf pesto or yuzu ponzu.
  2. It is not counter-only. 17 posts said there is a table inside besides the counter seats; none said every seat is at the counter. The six that counted said there is just one table. All three posts that sat there had booked it, and one writer who walked in first at 5 pm on a weekday found the table already reserved.
  3. People book. Seventeen posts reserved through Naver or CatchTable. One found the room full at 7 pm on a Friday; another said every other seat was reserved on a Sunday evening. One post from a weekend evening in July 2025 found it fairly empty and quiet, and one got a same-day booking.
  4. No one called it expensive. 13 posts said it was fair or good value; one said it might feel a bit steep but was worth it. Course A at 79,000 won and Course B at 59,000 won were the same in every post from July 2025 to September 2026. One group of three went around 4 pm, got a time discount, added a cut and paid about 70,000 won each.
3 more
  1. Six posts said it was a lot of food — one felt it was plenty for 79,000 won, another called the pot rice enormous. One said the meat looked small in photos but was not, once eaten.
  2. Eight posts went with a partner or spouse, four with a friend, two as a group of four or more. Many went for a birthday or anniversary.
  3. Four posts got refills — pickled gourd, chamnamul salad, pickles, grilled eggplant.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Toilet inside1 of 26 posts

No one described the floor or any steps; only the address says ground floor.

No post said whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. We simply don't know.

One post pointed out the restroom door inside the dining room. Whether it is split by gender, two copied info blocks disagree (shared vs. separate), and no one wrote from what they saw.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • Course A changed. Five posts from July 2025 to February 2026 had beef intestine after the oxtail; from May 2026 there is no intestine and a sukiyaki appears instead. The price stayed at 79,000 won.
  • One post mentioned a two-hour limit. No one else brought it up, which means it went unmentioned, not that there is none.
  • One writer took the subway. Many posts repeat that it is a 5-10 minute walk from Seomyeon Station exit 7, but that is copied guidance, not experience.
  • No one queued. Almost everyone had booked, so we don't know how long a walk-in waits. One group arrived early and waited outside briefly.
  • No one went with children. One post copied a note saying there are no high chairs, unconfirmed.
  • Opening hours appear in 22 posts, all copied. 18 give weekdays 17:00-02:00 and weekends 16:00-02:00; two say 17:00-02:00 daily. No one gave a closing day or last-order time.
  • Several posts list the same phone number, 0507-1428-1780. Reservations go through Naver or CatchTable, and one post says phone bookings are taken too.
  • Eight posts say they paid themselves, one says it was an invited tasting, and eighteen say nothing. Many repeat the shop's own offer — a course discount and free corkage for writing a review — in the same words, and a few follow an identical layout. We did not count the offer or the TV-show claims.
