Hwamokjeong Ttaro-gukbap
화목정 따로국밥 Hwamok is the Korean word for harmony, and ttaro-gukbap is gukbap served with the rice on the side rather than in the soup — which is how the posts describe it arriving; none of them explain the name itself.

A gukbap house in a back alley off the Yeongdo pojangmacha street in Bongnae-dong, Yeongdo, Busan. Pork gukbap is 10,000 won with the rice served separately; beef-head gukbap is 13,000 won, and a boiled-pork-jowl set for two or more is 16,000 won a head. You take your shoes off and sit on cushions on the floor; posts count eight to ten tables. Noodles, seasoned chives, kimchi and radish kimchi come with every order. We read 30 posts dated September 7, 2025 to October 15, 2026; 25 describe an actual meal. One was about the restaurant next door and was dropped, and four were write-ups without a visit or a repeat of the same visit, so we did not count them.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Shoes come off at the door — 9 posts say so; one called it a drawback, another advised wearing shoes that slip off easily.
- All seating is on the floor — 13 posts say so, one warning that a short skirt makes sitting awkward. No post mentions chairs.
- The most repeated point is the absence of porky smell: 15 posts said so, including one writer who described themselves as sensitive to food odors.
- The broth comes lightly seasoned: 5 posts called it mild or bland and added salted shrimp or salt. One, from January 2026, found it too bland and said they would not return.
5 more
- 12 posts noted plenty of meat in the soup; one said there was so much that the pricier set wasn't necessary.
- Repeat visits are common: 7 posts describe being regulars, going two days running on a trip, or twice in one week.
- Side dishes are refilled on request — 3 posts got more kimchi, radish kimchi or noodles, one twice.
- Lunch brings a line: 2 posts waited or saw people waiting, noting there is no ticket system and diners just keep track among themselves. Two more only warned that you may have to wait near lunchtime. No post gives a wait time in minutes.
- Couples are the most common company: 6 posts went with a partner, husband or boyfriend. There are also solo diners and groups of friends.

Parking
2 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

There is no parking of its own. Of the 2 posts that actually drove, one used the Bongnae-dong public lot and paid 1,000 won after the meal; the other parked on the street. The parking fees in other posts are copied listings.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 2 of 24 posts |
|---|---|
| Separate restrooms | yes 0 · no 1 (of 24 posts read) |
No post says which floor the restaurant is on or whether there are stairs. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there are none.
No visitor wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller; we only know you remove shoes and sit on the floor. One post calls access limited, but it was written without a visit, so we don't count it.
2 posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant.
1 post says the toilet is not separated by gender; no other post mentions it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Cleanliness is split: 2 posts called it clean (one could see the kitchen floor), 1 said it isn't a tidy kind of place, and 1 said it is not spotless but not dirty either.
- No post describes walking from a subway station or bus stop. The distances from Nampo Station are copied listings; one post took a taxi from Busan Station, about 15 minutes.
- Opening hours appear in 22 visit posts, almost all identical: 10:10 to 20:30, break 15:30 to 17:00, last orders 15:00 and 20:00, closed the second and fourth Sunday of each month. All are copied listings; one March 2026 post gives 10:30 as opening time. Only one post actually ate right at the 10:10 opening.
- Prices: pork gukbap is 10,000 won in every post from September 2025 to October 2026. The pork set was 15,000 won in one May 2026 post and 16,000 won per person from August 2026 on — with only one earlier post we can't tell a price rise from a typo. No one called it expensive; one said 10,000 won isn't exactly cheap. A solo meal of one bowl costs 10,000 won.
- The phone number is given as 0507-1328-4388 in 11 posts and 051-412-4388 in 3. No post says they made a reservation.
- Two posts were written from review statistics or guesswork without a visit; one claims there is no break time and a late-July vacation, contradicting the others. We did not count them.
