Villa de Bleu

빌라드블루 Billadeubeullu Villa de Bleu is French for 'villa of blue' — the room is done in white and blue after Italy's Amalfi coast.

Compiled from 25 blog posts read in fullSources →

Villa de Bleu is an Italian restaurant on the street at the foot of Haebangchon, 30-1 Sinheung-ro, Yongsan-gu. Twenty-two posts ordered the aligot cheese lasagna (22,000 won), finished at the table with a stretchy potato-and-cheese sauce, and sixteen ordered the polpo mambo octopus (25,000 won); six took the Amalfi set of lasagna, octopus, fried gnocchi and two drinks. We read 30 posts dated 1 July to 27 October 2026; 25 record an actual meal. Two were about the Seongsu branch and a nearby café and were dropped; three were only listings or blurbs.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The window is the seat here. Fourteen of the 25 posts mention the window seats or the big opening windows — eating with the windows thrown open onto the street, and a four-seat bar facing outside. Some call it 'street-stall style', but they mean indoor seats by the open windows, not a terrace.
  2. Tables go to people who booked. Twelve posts booked or saw 'reserved' signs on the tables; those who walked in were sent to the bar because every table was taken (a Friday lunch at opening, a weekday lunch). Posts say Naver and CatchTable bookings carry a 15,000-won-per-person deposit, taken off the bill.
  3. It is small. Eight posts say so and none says it is roomy. One counted a bar for about six, two four-person tables and four window bar seats; another counted three hall tables; another, mostly two-tops and a single four-top. One notes the bar is awkward for three or more.
  4. Two posts mention ordering rules: one says one dish and one drink per person are required; the other says sides need one main per head, so their four ordered four mains.
2 more
  1. Of 15 posts that say who they came with, eight came as couples, four with friends, two in groups of three or more and one with a mother. Two noticed that most other tables were couples.
  2. Five posts describe getting there: a 5-, 9- or 10-minute walk from Noksapyeong Station exits 1 and 2, the Yongsan 02 village bus stopping right outside, or arriving by bus. Two liked that it sits at the bottom of Haebangchon, before the hill.

Where it is

Map showing where Villa de Bleu is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Five posts describe getting there: a 5-, 9- or 10-minute walk from Noksapyeong Station exits 1 and 2, the Yongsan 02 village bus stopping right outside, or arriving by bus. Two liked that it sits at the bottom of Haebangchon, before the hill.

Getting inside

No post describes the floor from experience — only the '1st floor' in the address and descriptions of a blue door on the street.

No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pram gets in. That is not a no — nobody wrote about it.

Only one post mentions the toilet, saying it 'seemed to be inside'. Nobody says whether it is separated by sex or how big it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Waits are split. Three posts queued (a weekday lunch, a line already at the door at opening, the end of the afternoon break), two walked straight in (a Saturday lunch, a Friday lunch at opening), and one got the last seat walking in at 6 pm on a weekday. Nobody gives a wait in minutes.
  • Opening hours are all copied from listings and vary slightly. Most give weekdays 12:00–22:00, weekends 12:00–23:00, a 15:30–17:00 break, and last orders at 14:30 and 21:00 (22:00 on weekend evenings). One post gives a 22:30 weekend close, one a 10:00 weekday opening, one 11:00 Monday to Thursday. None names a closing day; one post ate there around 5 pm on a Monday.
  • Prices disagree within the same weeks. Two posts give the Amalfi set as 75,000 won with two cocktails, one as 62,000. The polpo mambo is 25,000 won in eight posts and 26,000 in one. One couple found three dishes just right for two; one post called it on the pricey side.
  • Ten posts give the phone number as 0507-1409-8242; one parking-app post gives 02-6261-8242. Booking is via Naver or CatchTable; one post says Naver takes up to four and larger groups should call.
  • Posts with the same layout of info block and dish rundown cluster in October 2026, and two pairs ordered the identical dishes. None discloses sponsorship, so we counted them as written; five say they paid themselves.
