Jacoby's Burger is a burger bar on the ground floor at 38 Sinheung-ro in Haebangchon. Besides burgers it serves hot dogs, pasta, salads and now tacos, with draft beer and soju. You tick your order and bun choice on a paper slip at the table and take it to the counter. The house Jacoby burger was 11,900 won on both the October 2024 and October 2026 menus; the two-person Gut Buster is 32,900 won. Fries are not included and are ordered separately. What sets it apart
- There is terrace seating out front. 12 posts sat at or noted the outdoor tables, and several mention the view of Namsan Tower. Two posts warn that the tables beside the entrance sit right next to the waiting line; one found it impossible to hold a conversation there, the other chose to sit inside for that reason.

The shop is on the ground floor, but only 1 post said so from experience; the rest just repeat the address.
We don't know whether the entrance has a step or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in; no post mentions it either way. One post did find the Haebangchon hill tiring.
2 posts say the toilet is inside, past the left of the counter. One post complained of a strong smell. No one said whether it is split by gender.

What we do not know
- Opinions on the patty split: 6 posts found it juicy, 2 found it dry or not especially juicy, and 1 said it was somewhat juicy. One October 2026 post returning after several years said it was drier than they remembered.
- Most posts came as couples (6), then with family (2, one with two children) and with friends (2). Some mentioned plenty of solo diners, but no post went alone.

- 5 posts called it expensive. Burger prices were the same on the October 2024 and October 2026 menus, but sides went up: fries from 11,000 to 11,900 won, onion rings from 9,000 to 12,900, wings from 9,900 to 12,900. Two burgers, fries and beer for two typically came to around 40,000 won.
- Payment changed: posts from November 2024 to June 2025 paid after eating, while October 2026 posts paid upfront at the counter when ordering. Tacos were not on the October 2024 menu and first appear as a new item in a February 2026 post.
- 11 posts list the same phone number, 02-3785-0433. One post says the shop takes no reservations; one says takeaway can be ordered by phone, except the Gut Buster, which cannot be taken out.
