Sikseon is a Japanese set-course restaurant at Tojeong-ro 35-gil 18 in Yonggang-dong, Mapo, a short walk from Mapo Station. It moved here in summer 2026 from the second floor of Seongji 3-gil 19 in Hapjeong. Only three posts, from August and September 2026, cover the new Mapo shop, and two of them had a two-person course with lobster sashimi for 178,000 and 179,000 won. Posts from the Hapjeong days describe a 29,000-won lunch course and a 59,000-won dinner course, often with an extra dish such as the 25,000-won mackerel bar sushi. We read 30 posts dated July 2025 to September 2026. We set aside two that were about other places, and 27 describe a visit.

What sets it apart
- This is a place people book. Nineteen posts say they went with a reservation, mostly through Catchtable. Several posts say the mackerel bar sushi and the ankimo roll have to be ordered along with the booking, though that is what staff told them. One post walked in without a booking, waited outside for a short while, and was seated at the counter.
- Nineteen posts talk about price, and 13 of them say it was good for the money. The two that call it expensive both had special circumstances. One was the 178,000-won lobster course at the new Mapo shop, and the writer wondered whether it was worth that much. The other went on Christmas Eve 2025, when a bottle of alcohol starting at 90,000 won was required, and wrote that this wiped out the value.
- More posts call the courses small than big. Six posts said the portions were not large, one noting that a grown man might find it a bit short, and suggested adding an à la carte dish. One post from the new Mapo shop said there was almost too much food. Two others thought it looked small at first but were full by the end.
- The new Mapo shop is close to the station. Two posts walked from Mapo Station, one calling it under three minutes and the other about a minute from Exit 1.
2 more
- Seven posts went with a partner or spouse, seven with friends, three with family, two in groups of five or six, and one alone. Many were planned around an occasion, such as an anniversary, a birthday, Christmas, or a get-together to hand out wedding invitations.
- Four posts from December 2025 describe Christmas table mats, candles, a tree and decorated desserts. All of these were at the old Hapjeong shop.

Two posts about the new Mapo shop mention parking. One parked in the building's own spaces, and the other said parking at Hanwha Obelisk is validated. No one said how many hours are covered.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
No post describes which floor the new shop is on; the address simply says ground floor, unit 101. The old Hapjeong shop was on the second floor.
No one wrote about a step at the new shop's entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that there is a problem.
For the new shop, one post only says there is a restroom on the same floor of the building. We don't know whether it is inside the restaurant, and no one said whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- A June 2026 post said the shop had closed to prepare for the move and renovation, and every post from August on is about the new Mapo shop. We did not count the old Hapjeong second-floor room, with its counter, roughly four tables and a private room, or its lack of parking or its hours, as current. One post says the new shop is much bigger, and two mention floor-to-ceiling windows.
- Four posts from the Hapjeong days say dinner required one drink per person, alcoholic or not. One writer who dislikes fizzy drinks ordered a Coke Zero just to meet the rule. One August 2026 post from the new Mapo shop said drinks were no longer required and ordered none.
- Three Hapjeong-era posts copied store listings that said no children were allowed. One post from the new Mapo shop was told that children can now come. Another brought a baby and found it a bit much to manage there.
- No post mentions waiting at the new Mapo shop. One says a weekday lunch was fairly quiet. In the Hapjeong days, one post waited outside briefly after walking in without a booking.
- Five posts found the staff friendly. One post was made to wait outside until the afternoon break ended and found the host's manner off-putting. The same writer said the rim of a worn wooden spoon scratched their lips.
- We don't know the opening hours. Only one post gives hours for the new shop, and those were copied from Instagram: lunch 11:30 to 14:00 and dinner 17:00 to 22:00. We left out the hours in 12 Hapjeong-era posts because they come from before the move. No one gave the new shop's days off.
- The only prices anyone gave for the new shop are for the two-person lobster course, 178,000 and 179,000 won. One September 2026 post said lunch was the same course at the same price as dinner, and another saw a notice for a 29,000-won lunch starting 1 October. We don't know whether the Hapjeong prices of 29,000 and 59,000 won still apply.
- Six posts list the phone number as 0507-1386-5809, but all are from before the move. One August 2025 post gives 010-5694-2280. We don't know whether the number stayed the same after the move. Most posts booked through Catchtable.
