WOOHANA

우하나 여의도점 Uhana Yeouido-jeom Woohana pairs 'woo' (牛, cattle/beef) with 'hana' (one); the brand line copied into one post reads 'only one Korean beef dining' — one beef, served in one private room.

Compiled from 26 blog posts read in fullSources →

A hanu (Korean beef) omakase house on the ground floor of the NH Nonghyup Capital building on Gukjegeumyung-ro 8-gil in Yeouido; one post says it opened in June 2026. You enter through a cave-like corridor, and 24 of the 27 visit posts say every table is a private room with a door. Eighteen ate dinner course B (90 g of beef, 129,000 won per person): porridge, small bites, abalone, tilefish, hanu sukiyaki and a cold noodle, then pre-seared striploin you finish on your own tabletop grill, served with rice and seaweed soup, then dessert. Lunch courses start at 39,000 won. We read 30 posts from 26 June to 16 October 2026. We set aside one about a different branch, and did not count one promotional post written by the restaurant or one with no first-hand detail. Of the 27 visits, 3 disclose sponsorship, 4 received free meals, 5 say they paid, and 15 say nothing.

Rows without a count: 11 of 21 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Twenty-four of 27 visits ate in a private room and 13 call it quiet; one writes that closing the door shut out the noise. One post disagrees: a family of four in July could still hear the next table. Room counts vary (17 counted by one visitor, 'about 20', 21); apart from the one who counted, these are hearsay and we did not count them.
  2. The beef is seared in the kitchen and you finish it on a personal grill at your seat; six posts mention the pre-searing. One says to cook the second side for just two seconds, another that the grill runs hot. A July post says the flame died before the vegetables were done. The restaurant's own promotional post claims staff grill everything for you; no diner's post agrees, so we did not count it.
  3. Fourteen posts say the open kitchen is visible from the corridor to the rooms. Before the meal a server brings a wooden box showing the day's beef, lobster and vegetables, and nearly every post photographs it.
  4. Almost every post repeats that corkage is free, but only two actually brought a bottle — one a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The other notes there is no bottle limit, but Korean liquors the restaurant itself sells cannot be brought in, and staff do not open bottles for you.
2 more
  1. Nine posts say they booked (Naver or CatchTable). Most say that if you mention an anniversary you get a glass of sparkling wine or grape juice, a lettered dessert plate and one Polaroid. Three note the lettering text is fixed, and one wished there had been more than a single Polaroid.
  2. Three posts came with children; all three say a child's portion of rice and seaweed soup was served free (one says for ages four and under), and one says a high chair and toddler tableware were set out.

Parking

6 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park6 of 26 posts

Twenty posts mention parking and six parked there themselves. Two free hours in the building's basement garage is the usual figure; one post says three. Several copy the notice that a garage three minutes' walk away also gives two free hours when the building is full. One driver warns that the ramp down spirals and is a little narrow.

Getting inside

Lift to the floor1 of 26 posts
Separate restrooms1 of 26 posts

No diner's post describes the floor from experience. The '1st floor' in the address is not a first-hand account, and the claim that there are no stairs appears only in the restaurant's own promotional post, which we did not count.

No post says whether the entrance has a step or whether anyone came in with a wheelchair or stroller — not that there are none, just that nobody wrote about it. One post says an elevator from the basement garage leads to a rear door. A CatchTable 'accessible facilities' label was copied into one post; we did not rely on it.

We don't know whether the restroom is inside the restaurant. One post says it is split by gender and pleasant; another only mentions a side door 'to get to the restroom', which leaves unclear whether it is inside or shared with the building.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post mentions waiting; nearly all visitors had booked, and one copies a note that it is reservation-only. Nobody wrote about walking in.
  • Opinions on cost split: three posts say it isn't expensive for what you get, one calls the price eye-watering. On the September–October 2026 menu a meal runs 39,000–99,000 won at lunch and 109,000–189,000 won at dinner. Many visits were sponsored, comped or silent on funding, which is worth keeping in mind when reading the price comments.
  • Twenty-one posts list hours, all copied from listings. Eleven split weekday 11:00 and weekend 11:30 openings, four say 11:00–22:00 daily. Most agree on a 15:00–17:00 break and 21:00 last order; one gives a break until 17:30, another an 11:30 opening with a break from 15:30. Check the opening time if you go on a weekend.
  • Two phone numbers appear: most posts give 0507-1335-7610, five give 02-6124-7610. Most booked through Naver or CatchTable; one says to call for same-day bookings.
  • The courses change with the seasons. Posts up to about 10 September show four small bites (including a sea-bream tart); from 14 September there are three. Through early October the fourth plate was tuna with sea urchin and the tilefish came with fried fatsia shoots; posts from 5 October on show a sea-urchin-and-scallop marinade, with burdock or lotus-root chips on the tilefish. Older photos may not match today's menu.
  • A cluster of posts from 5–16 October follows the same script (cave entrance, all-private rooms, ingredient box, anniversary perks, free corkage, dinner course B) with similar hashtags, and only some disclose sponsorship. We counted each post separately, but the uniform praise partly reflects this batch.
