Sichuan HwaGa
사천화가 Sacheon Hwaga Sacheon is the Korean reading of Sichuan; the posts do not explain what Hwaga means, and they describe the place as a Sichuan-style spicy Chinese restaurant opened by the JS Garden group.

A Sichuan-style Chinese restaurant on the sixth-floor dining level of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido. Most posts share beef-tripe mala noodles (21,000 won), whole-cuttlefish jjamppong (22,000), crab fried rice (19,000) and sweet-and-sour pork (28,000); sets run 62,000 won. We read 25 posts from 23 July to 15 October 2026; 19 describe an actual meal, and eight of those follow one template with the same three dishes and the same phrasing.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Waits vary. Four posts walked straight in — one on a Sunday when neighbouring restaurants had 20 to 30 groups queued. Two waited: two or three groups ahead at Saturday lunch, and five groups around 2:30 on a weekend afternoon.
- Six posts say the food came quickly; one timed it at under ten minutes.
- Nine posts found the room spacious with well-spaced tables; one disagreed, calling it small and tightly packed. Seven describe solo counter seats at the front with two- and four-person tables further in.
- Five posts came with children. Two saw high chairs, one wheeled a stroller in and noticed babies at the neighbouring tables, and one says staff brought children's cutlery unasked. One warns the sweet-and-sour pork is slightly spicy for kids.
1 more
- Six posts found portions large — two people struggled with three dishes, and a family left part of a set unfinished.

Parking is the department store's garage. Three posts cover it; two had two free hours registered after the meal, and one notes the store charges 2,000 won per 10 minutes after the first free 30.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 3 (of 19 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Step-free access | 2 of 19 posts |
The floor is clear: the sixth-floor dining level, which three posts describe going up to. How to get there inside the store goes unmentioned, apart from one post that rode an escalator.
Two posts found it easy to bring a stroller in. No one wrote about wheelchair access or a step at the entrance — not that there is one, just that nobody said.
No post mentions the toilets; we don't know whether you use the department store's or the restaurant has its own.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 23 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Twelve posts call the food spicy, mostly 'moderately' or 'slightly'. One found the mala milder than expected, and several mention chili oil and peanut sauce on the table to adjust the heat.
- Only one post gives a transit route (five minutes on foot from Yeouinaru Station), and it is one of the templated posts; the rest only give the location inside the store.
- Twelve posts give the same opening hours — daily 10:30 to 22:00, last order 21:00 in five, closed on the department store's holidays — but most copy the listing's info block. One post notes there is no afternoon break.
- Prices are consistent across August–October 2026 posts (mala noodles 21,000 won, pork 28,000, sets 62,000). A September list copied 20,000 / 27,000 / 59,000, but an August post already shows current prices, so we treat those as stale rather than a cut. Two people sharing three dishes spend about 60,000 won; two posts call the prices reasonable.
- The phone number 02-3277-0665 appears in many posts' info blocks. Nobody says whether reservations are taken; one post registered on the waiting list at the door.
- Eight of the nineteen visit posts order the same three dishes and repeat the same phrases; none discloses sponsorship, but they read as one commissioned script, and a word-for-word duplicate was left uncounted. Three posts say they paid their own way.
