Lil Burger

릴버거 Ril Beogeo Lil is English slang for little — the name simply means a little burger.

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

Lil Burger's The Hyundai Seoul outlet is an orange, bus-shaped food truck in the basement food court (Food Truck Piazza) of the Yeouido department store, one of three branches alongside the Jayang-dong original and Gwanghwamun. Burgers come as combos with fries, from 13,900 won for the cheeseburger to 17,900 won for the El Taco; drinks are 2,500 won extra. You order at a kiosk, collect when notified, eat at the shared food-court tables and return trays to a common drop-off. We read 30 posts dated 3 July to 27 September 2026; four were about other branches or other shops and were set aside, and 23 describe actually eating here.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. The most-ordered item is not a burger but the maple sweet potato fries: 18 of the 23 visits had them, and several posts likened them to candied sweet potato. Fifteen posts called something here sweet. Swapping them into a combo costs 1,000 won more.
  2. Twelve posts ordered at the kiosks scattered around the food court; a KakaoTalk message confirms payment and another tells you to collect. Two posts ordered from their seat via a QR/barcode on the table. Many repeat the same advice: grab a seat before you order.

Getting inside

In a basement20 of 23 posts
Step-free access1 of 23 posts

Twenty posts went down to the B1 food court to eat. Several said the orange truck marked No. 2 is easy to spot; two placed it on the right after coming down the escalator.

Only one post covered access: they pushed a stroller straight in and found the aisles wide. Nobody went by wheelchair — not a sign it is impossible, just that no one wrote about it.

No post mentioned toilets. As a food-court counter it presumably relies on the department store's, but we do not know where they are.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 26 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions split on the patty: five posts called it thick, two said it is on the thin side — those two described a smashed patty with crisp edges. Fourteen posts called it juicy.
  • Nine posts called the food spicy, one said it was not, and one left it open. Most of the nine said only mildly; one post that had the jalapeño burger said it hardly earns the word.
  • Seating is the food court's shared tables, not Lil Burger's own. Seven posts found a seat — some said there was plenty, others had to hunt; several said weekends and meal times mean circling for a table.
  • Waiting barely comes up. One post saw a line at weekday lunch. Food arrived in 5–7 minutes in one post and 9 min 48 s in another; one found it a little slow, one quick.
  • Only one post described getting here: the underground link from Yeouido Station (Line 5) keeps you dry. The 'five minutes from Yeouinaru exit 1' in other posts is copied listing text.
  • Sixteen posts list opening hours, all copied, and they follow the department store. Nine give 10:30–20:00 Monday to Thursday and 10:30–20:30 Friday to Sunday; three say 20:00 daily, two 20:30 daily. A notice said it would close on 24–25 September 2026 for Chuseok.
  • Combos run 13,900–17,900 won, and one post was surprised no drink is included. Two posts called it expensive — one about the food court in general, one about 13,800-won onion rings costing as much as a burger. One post (30 Aug 2026) gave 14,900 won for the cheeseburger set and 16,900 for the El Taco; posts before and after say 13,900 and 17,900, so we do not treat it as a price change.
  • Posts disagree on ordering a burger alone: one says singles are available, three say combos only.
  • Nine posts share the same hashtag bundle and stock phrases, suggesting commissioned copy, though none disclose sponsorship; one post showed a receipt. Chef Lee Won-il's consulting, an idol's endorsement and '100% beef patty' are the shop's own claims, repeated, and we do not rely on them.
  • The phone number 0507-1397-1153 appears identically in many listing blocks. No post mentions booking — a kiosk-ordered food-court counter is not the kind of place you reserve.
