Pandong Myeonok Yeouido

판동면옥 여의도점 Myeonok means a noodle house; the posts give no meaning for Pandong, and note this is the Yeouido branch of a house that started in Daechi-dong.

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Pyongyang-style cold-noodle house on the ground floor of the Machinery Center building at 37 Eunhaeng-ro, Yeouido, the second branch of Pandong Myeonok from Daechi-dong. Cold noodles and bibim noodles are 15,000 won, yukgaejang 14,000 won, and most tables add half plates of dumplings and mung-bean pancake at 7,000 won each. We read 30 posts dated 12 February to 24 October 2026; 26 describe actual meals, 3 were about other restaurants and set aside, and 1 was a listicle entry. Of the 26, 23 ordered the cold noodles.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The room is big. Seventeen of the 26 visit posts said it was spacious and 11 mentioned a separate private room; one watched a group file into it, others noted partitions along the window seats. A parent with a pram said the tables were far enough apart to park it beside them.
  2. Expect a wait at weekday lunch. Five posts queued or saw a queue form: one arrived around 11:30 to a nearly full room, another rushed over right at noon and still waited. One post had no wait on a weekday lunch, and three skipped the line because it was a rainy Sunday, a slow hour or just after opening. Four posts describe a ticket machine and waiting area at the door, one with a big fan and chairs.
  3. Two posts said each diner must order a main. Dumplings and mung-bean pancake come in half plates, so many pairs had two bowls of noodles plus two half plates.
  4. Five posts found the portions large; one thought the noodle bowl was on the small side. One diner could not finish the noodles.

Posts saying you can park5 of 23 posts

Five posts parked in the building garage. One, noting the church across the road, said timing matters and they got the last space by luck. The '1 hour weekdays, 2 hours weekends free' line in nearly every post is the restaurant's own notice, copied.

Lift to the floor1 of 23 posts
Step at the entranceyes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read)
Step-free access1 of 23 posts

Only one post described getting in: pushing a pram, the writer took the lift from the basement car park straight to the ground-floor dining room with no steps or lip. Nobody described the street-side door. Two posts confirm from experience that the room is on the ground floor.

No visit post said where the toilets are or whether they are separated by sex. One post's copied info block lists separate toilets, but we do not count copied listings. This means nobody told us, not that there are none.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • One post said it walked from Gukhoe-uisadang station on Line 9. The '450 m from exit 3' line repeated in many posts is copied from the restaurant's own listing, so we did not count it.
  • Sixteen posts list opening hours, all copied from listings. Thirteen agree on 11:00-22:00 weekdays and 11:00-20:00 weekends; two give other hours. One February 2026 post lists a weekend break of 16:00-17:00, while three posts from August on say there is none.
  • Prices did not move between February and October 2026; the cold noodles are 15,000 won in every post. One sponsored post called the prices reasonable, and one said the dumplings were not exactly good value. Two bowls plus two half plates for a couple comes to 44,000 won.
  • Twelve posts give the phone number as 0507-1477-8301; one gives 02-784-8288. One post said there is no Naver booking and reservations go by phone.
  • Nine of the 26 visit posts share the same hashtag string and the same stock lines about top-grade Korean-beef broth, buckwheat milled daily on a millstone, and roomy seating with private rooms; none of the nine disclose sponsorship, and the three that do use the same lines. We treat those lines as the restaurant's own copy, not as evidence.
