Yeonnam Toma
연남토마 Yeonnam is the Seoul neighbourhood (Yeonnam-dong) where this first shop stands; the posts do not explain what Toma means.

Yeonnam Toma's original branch fills the ground and upper floors of a converted house on Worldcup-bukro 6-gil in Yeonnam-dong, near Hongik Univ. station, serving pasta and risotto alongside Japanese-style rice bowls and cutlets. The spicy brisket cream pasta is 18,000 won, the pollock-roe basil pasta and perilla-wrap risotto 17,000 won, the yakiniku bowl 14,000 won; three posts ordered on a tablet at the table. We read 30 posts dated 5 to 10 October 2026. We set aside 16 about other branches (Bukchon, Seongsu, Eunpyeong, Cheongju and others) and 2 ranking lists, leaving 12 posts from people who ate here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The windows define the place: ten of the twelve visiting posts mention the full-height glass or a window seat, often saying what they saw through it - green trees with the window open, or the Yeonnam-dong street. One writer arrived first and picked a window table.
- Seven posts call something spicy, six of them the brisket cream pasta - 'a bit hotter than Shin Ramyun', 'more heat than expected at the back' - and one says you can ask for it milder. One more post said it was pleasantly hot rather than really spicy. On the risotto two posts disagree: one found no heat at all, another a gentle spiciness.
- Three posts booked ahead - one via CatchTable for a weekday dinner, one via Naver for 1 pm, one for 6 pm on a public holiday, when the room was nearly full on arrival.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 8 of 12 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 6 (of 12 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 2 of 12 posts |
| Separate restrooms | yes 0 · no 1 (of 12 posts read) |
Both floors are used. Eight posts mention the upper floor; two were seated there, one because the ground floor was already full, and two preferred it upstairs. It is not a basement - six posts describe ground-floor seating. One post mentions stairs up to the second floor.
No one wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller, and no one mentioned a lift. That is an absence of reports, not a finding.
Two posts put the toilet inside, on the second floor; one says it is shared by men and women.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-10-06 | 2 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Many posts repeat that this is a place with queues, but as hearsay; none of the twelve visitors actually waited in line. One walked straight in at lunch over the Chuseok holiday while adding that weekends usually mean a queue. This does not mean there is no wait - only that no one recorded one.
- One post describes the 450 m walk from Hongik Univ. station; the others copied the distance from exit 2.
- Nine posts give the same hours - daily 11:30 to 21:30, last order 20:30 - all copied from the shop listing. None mentions a closing day.
- Prices do not vary across the October 2026 posts. Only one gives a bill: 50,000 won for three people with a rice bowl, risotto, cutlet and a cola. Two posts called it good value.
- Four posts copied the phone number 0507-1329-8064; no one booked by phone - bookings went through CatchTable and Naver.
- Six posts share the same phrasing in the same order - a 'quietly refined converted house', the sign lit at dusk, 'company-run branch', 'good for dates and family meals' - and only one discloses an invitation. Six of the seven posts praising friendly staff belong to this group, so weigh the service and cleanliness praise accordingly.
