Y.TOP
연남동와이탑 Yeonnamdong Waitap The name pairs the neighbourhood, Yeonnam-dong, with Y.TOP, the gold lettering on the building; none of the posts explains what Y.TOP stands for.

Yeonnamdong Y.TOP occupies the second and third floors of a converted house at 163 Seongmisan-ro, in the back streets of Yeonnam-dong. The draw is beef Wellington (65,000 won in September 2026); pastas and risottos run 22,500 to 26,500 won and thin pizzas 16,000 to 20,500. You order from a QR code at the table, and many couples took the set for two. The two posts that gave a bill for two paid 105,500 won and about 120,000 won. We read 30 posts dated 13 September to 8 October 2026; 23 describe an actual meal. The other seven are four meal-kit ads written by the restaurant, two information-only write-ups and one entry in a sightseeing list.

Rows without a count: 2 of 16 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There are private rooms with doors. Nine posts saw them; one described a third-floor room holding a single four-person table, with a coat rack and a basket. The 7-to-10-person VIP room with a deposit is copied from the listing, not observed.
- This is a book-ahead place: nine posts reserved, mostly through Naver. The 24-a-day Wellington limit is the restaurant's own line, but one post did miss out on it after changing the reservation date.
- You order on your phone from a QR code at the table; nine posts said so.
- Six posts noticed a wall of celebrity autographs; one placed them by the counter.
4 more
- Most found it pricey: six posts said so, one of them rating value for money two stars out of five after spending about 120,000 won for two. One post found it affordable for an occasion.
- Five posts found something spicy: the vongole and the beef risotto most often, and in one case the octopus carpaccio, which came with chopped chilli.
- Eight posts said the staff were kind; one had them hold a cake and flowers ahead of a surprise birthday.
- Six posts found it quiet enough for conversation. Three called the space large; one thought it on the small side.

Parking
1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 1 of 22 posts |

One post actually parked: after booking, they phoned on arrival and staff opened the car-park barrier. Two posts drove. The 4-car, 2-hour, reservations-only limit is copied from the listing, and one post's copied block says there is no parking in the building, so the posts disagree.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 13 of 22 posts |
|---|---|
| Step-free access | yes 0 · no 1 (of 22 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 2 of 22 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 22 posts |
You climb stairs to get in. Thirteen posts went up to the second or third floor to eat, and one spelled out that the dining room is upstairs. Several described the second floor as an open hall and the third as a hall plus private rooms; three mentioned the bright window seats.
We effectively don't know about wheelchair or pushchair access. One post warned the stairs could be hard for anyone with limited mobility; nobody mentioned a lift or the entrance step. That means unrecorded, not absent. The no-kids rule (older primary-school children and up) is copied from the listing by many posts but experienced by none.
The toilets are inside. Two posts placed the men's on the second floor; one added that the women's is separately on the third, stocked with mouthwash, floss and hand cream.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-09-13 | 4 posts in one day |
|---|
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post reports waiting. One weekday visitor was seated straight away; talk of weekend queues is hearsay. Since most posts had reservations, we don't know how long walk-ins wait.
- Sixteen posts give opening hours, all copied from listings. The usual version is Monday to Saturday 11:30 to 21:30, Sunday 11:30 to 21:00, a weekday-only break from 15:00 to 17:30, last orders at 21:00 (20:30 on Sunday). Two posts have Saturday closing at 21:00 too, and one alone starts the break at 15:30. Two posts say there is no regular closing day.
- Prices may have changed. A visit in August 2026 paid 62,000 won for the Wellington with signature sauce; two September posts list it at 65,000 (68,000 with gravy). With only one August data point, we can't say when it went up. No post gives the price of the sets.
- Many posts copy the phone number 0507-1454-3203; two give 02-332-3200 as the number to call for the car-park gate. Reservations are taken through Naver.
- The same phrases keep recurring: three rooms, sixteen tables, about sixty seats in five posts, and 24 Wellingtons a day, three days in the making, one of Seoul's top three, in most of them. That is the restaurant's own copy, so we didn't treat it as evidence. One post discloses sponsorship, one says the food was provided, and four say they paid their own way.
