Yeon Bakeshop is a dessert café on the second floor of a converted white house at 172 Seongmisan-ro in Yeonnam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul; the ground floor is a separate gift shop. You pick from a display case — a cat-faced Basque cheesecake (6,000 won), banana pudding (6,800 won), egg tarts (3,800 won), financiers and other baked goods — and have it with an americano (5,000 won). The shop keeps a kitten called Nulle. Several writers were handed a free madeleine or financier. 11 posts say the café is upstairs on the second floor. The registered address says ground floor, but every visitor went up, and the ground floor is a gift shop. Several mention climbing stairs, one of them an outdoor staircase.
Nobody wrote about wheelchair or stroller access, a step at the door, or a lift. That doesn't mean there isn't one — no one said. All we know is that the café is upstairs and reached by stairs.
5 posts say the toilet is inside the café; one notes water and hand soap next to it.
1 post says the toilets are separate for men and women; the others did not say.

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes queuing. That isn't proof there is never a wait — no one wrote about it. Some found every inside table taken or the place packed on a rainy day; others found it empty on weekday mornings.
- Opening hours are mostly copied from listings rather than observed. 12 posts give 9:00–20:00 and 1 gives 9:30–20:00; 13 say closed Mondays, and 1 of those adds the last Tuesday of the month. 9 give last orders at 19:30. One visitor found it open at 10:40 on a weekday.
- Prices vary slightly between posts: the Yeon Latte is 7,000 won in an August post and 6,800 in a September one, and the one post listing financier prices says they may be inaccurate. No post totals what one person spent.
- 6 posts copy the phone number 0507-1311-3857, but none says whether you can book or that they booked.
- Two posts say the shop used to be near a university (around Sungshin Women's University) before moving to Yeonnam-dong, but one is hearsay and neither is first-hand, so we did not count it. One writer saw the shop's own sign saying it grew from 4 to 40 pyeong and was on its 52nd day in early August, which puts the Yeonnam opening around June 2026. Every post we read comes after that.
